I think it will be a 6 win season and Im a Auburn fan.
Every 9-11 seasons since 1983, Auburn has had an insane year. There’s the occasional great outlier season outside of that range but the pattern still stands: 1983: 11-1, 1993: 11-0, 2004: 13-0, 2013: 12-2, 2024: ?

I was at 6 before spring. Now I’m at 7-8. Plus look at the schedule. There’s a chance auburn wins all 8 home games. The 4 non conference games plus vandy, Arkansas, Texas an and m, and Oklahoma. All very winnable. I also think they go beat Kentucky on the road.

Im not certain Freeze will be the play caller. He let Nix call plays in the spring game. He said he will be the playcaller like he also said there will be a open QB competition.

we have so much potential this year its insane. I think even if this season is another fluke, we will for sure be great next season. I just hope we figure out the QB situation, im still not sold on payton.

Thorne might not be that much improved but the receivers around him are going to be a good bit better so he will look better just because of that.

@@wongyangus so let me get this straight. Auburn won 6 games last year and arguably could’ve won 8-9 based on the outcome if just a couple plays had gone their way. So in the offseason the coordinators improve as well as the weapons around Thorne but they regress? No I will not trust you.
@@personthatlives9271 They regress bc they play @Mizzou, OU, @Bama, @Georgia, and @UK. All of those teams are bad matchups for Auburn based on when they play those teams schedule wise and team v team comp wise. Thorne has been donkey in the spring games, only reason he’s completed 90% of his passes is bc Cam Coleman’s catch radius is off the charts. It will be a long year for Auburn and people will quickly realize that Hugh should have gone after a QB in the portal this offseason

Taking the question at face value, I agree that I see 5 wins for USC. ODU, Akron, Vanderbilt, Wofford are wins, +1 win for one of the games they are underdogs (possibly Kentucky).
