This is so beautifully emotive! I love the creating in the first 2.31min, getting to appreciate all the little sounds you wouldn't hear normally, but are just as important as the bigger sounds, but its magic when it all comes together! Keep doing what you're doing man 😊
I would love to see you do a loop cover of Hozier Jackie and Wilson. One of my favorite songs, and I feel like its been describing my life lately, you would do it awesome justice!
Hey Luke! Love the loop cover! Can you tell me what the mic you use is called? I’m looking for something like yours because I have a couple different guitars and not all of them are acoustic electric. Let me know! Thanks! Love your videos!
Hey Luke, amazing work as always. Kind of a dorky technical question for you. I know that when you record, you are running everything through headphones. In a live setting, would that mic pick up too much of the ambient noise from a PA, basically causing a never ending feedback issue? I have been working on a loop set, but I'm afraid getting out there live is going to be a real pain. Any thoughts? I REALLY appreciate any feed back or tips if you have done this in a live setting! Thanks man!
Hey Jonathan, This is a great question my man. You are absolutely correct. In a live setting the mic (if attached to the looper pedal) would pick up and feedback like crazy. Especially on the loops that take a lot longer to set up. I had that issue and I would have to bend over and turn the mic volume all the way down to do long loops - then bend back over and turn it up when I needed to loop and/or sing. SO... I thought, "What would fix this issue?" Answer: A mic muter pedal. So I did a little research and found this little guy - a.co/a8lbgky It works very well if you are on a budget. (There are better ones out there. Just google it.) So for live setups I plug my mic into the muter pedal and then out through the looper. Just don't forget to un-mute it when you start singing. Hope this helps man! Thanks for watching!
