The Charade - D'Angelo and The Vanguard

I've been gone a while. I know, life stuff. It's been a crappy year. Before I start making videos (a little more) consistently again, I wanted to find a song that went with the things that have been going on in regards to the treatment of African Americans by police. This is something that's been going on and it needs to stop. There's so much more I could say but I don't know where to start. It's so frustrating!
D'Angelo is one of my favorite artists. His first two albums Brown Sugar and Voodoo got me through Undergrad (over 10 yrs after Voodoo came out). I used to walk around UL campus with that on repeat. Voodoo was so different even down to the way it was mixed. They actually recorded just about everything to tape. It gave it a different feel as opposed to the all digital workstations we've been using.
This song in particular was from his latest album Black Messiah. This album talked not only talked about love and women but, also the things that was going on in the world at the time (and still seem to be going on). Take a look at the lyrics when you get a chance.
