When smeek was imitating the gun, I just instantly got a headcannon of a little goblin version of Percy who dual-wields pistols or has a blunderbus which sends him flying back every time he uses it

He could have died from something not caused by a person, thus the spell failing at the "who". There is also a small chance he was killed and brought back before, so if he is alive, it could still show the other time he died. The best question is probably "How did Viron Elenasto, father of Lucius Virion-Elluin Elenasto, last die?" This takes away the posibility of diing of accident and showing a possible different death if he died twice.
Smeek is just great. Totally unnecessary NPC who contributes absolutely nothing, but has an option of 3 futures. Glorious death, getting booted into the lowlands, min-maxed into Ailas little murder bot. And it's all in the hands of the party.

Why doesn't Tom _ever_ prepare "Hold Person"? I know he's got at least 3 levels in Cleric, so he should have it available. It could've made Moonstar's entrance go from cool Batman glide to hilarious face-plant!

Oh god, he's using Max Crit rules. I hope he's going to give it up really quickly, it's awful. I only use it on my firearms, which can't practally fire every round if you aren't very high level. Essentially it makes half of all fights boil down to whoever rolls the first crit wins. It also means you can't use monster with a small number of very strong attacks, because you'll just one shot a player every time you do it. Also, Paladins become even more OP, because Max Crit on divine smite is incredibly broken.
I love how after the bomb went off everyone was badly damaged, Tom just looked through his spells and in my head I heard him think "can I filter those for non-healing spells?" :D He might be the worst cleric ever, his first, second and third instinct is never giving out healing instead he rather makes himself a target and goes down shortly after.
Oh Tom, I sympathize with you so strongly in your dislike of Smeek- mind you, I don't mind Smeek but I am the player at my table who normally can't stand lolrandom.
Sometimes is he has the sour feeling of dmpc. same when valla was with the group. they sometimes got more sportlight then some of the characters did, which is a huge red flag if it continues for a long time.
Saguine. Have you ever been in dmpc party. Because a dmpc really needs to be out shining the pcs an awful lot more than. A girl with a few spells and a goblin have ever done. I’m not saying it’s not a thing. I’ve been guilty of it, but Mark is not dmpcing any of this

It's been discussed. I brought it up when Katie first made the character, she understands it would still be the same hammer but just wants to keep it as a Warhammer which is fine, it's her call.

Nico Erbschloe also one thing to note is that Barbarians get Brutal Critical at later levels which works very well with weapons with higher damage dice. So thigh a Maul would have a higher average, the Warhammer with Brutal Critical has loads of potential damage.
You can only crit on damage that is rolled, RAW. So unarmed attacks (unless you have something that gives you a damage die), green flame blade, etc won't benifet from a critical hit.

Oh god, he's using Max Crit rules. I hope he's going to give it up really quickly, it's awful. I only use it on my firearms, which can't practally fire every round if you aren't very high level.
Essentially it makes half of all fights boil down to whoever rolls the first crit wins. It also means you can't use monster with a small number of very strong attacks, because you'll just one shot a player every time you do it. Also, Paladins become even more OP, because Max Crit on divine smite is incredibly broken.

I love how after the bomb went off everyone was badly damaged, Tom just looked through his spells and in my head I heard him think "can I filter those for non-healing spells?" :D He might be the worst cleric ever, his first, second and third instinct is never giving out healing instead he rather makes himself a target and goes down shortly after.

Sometimes is he has the sour feeling of dmpc. same when valla was with the group. they sometimes got more sportlight then some of the characters did, which is a huge red flag if it continues for a long time.

It's been discussed. I brought it up when Katie first made the character, she understands it would still be the same hammer but just wants to keep it as a Warhammer which is fine, it's her call.

Nico Erbschloe also one thing to note is that Barbarians get Brutal Critical at later levels which works very well with weapons with higher damage dice. So thigh a Maul would have a higher average, the Warhammer with Brutal Critical has loads of potential damage.

So I thought of an idea for healing services in a free for all in dnd essentially you pay exp for healing making a literal monopoly
You can only crit on damage that is rolled, RAW. So unarmed attacks (unless you have something that gives you a damage die), green flame blade, etc won't benifet from a critical hit.
You roll a d8 for Green Flame Blade.
