    Done a few lead bossing and welding courses and a bit of time on site practising I cannot tell you how hard it is, and frustrating to see how good you are at it lol, nice work 👍🏼

    I’m curious how much more or less weight this would put on a roof compared shingles I would think it would be more bc it lead would anyone know

    Are the large dowels in the center of the valleys to prevent water from running down one side and sloshing up and under the tiles on the other?

      No they’re to separate each piece in a waterproof manner. The lead sheets can only be certain sizes due to thermal movement stresses.

      Durability, versatility, sustainability and reliability. They’re also considered to be prestigious to some degree.

    Nice work.. I just cant believe the government still allows lead roofs.. number one way for lead to enter water supply.

      Yeah, no. The hippie has a point, any runoff is going to contain lead, that puddle your dog likes to drink in the driveway, lead. The way to stop that from occurring is applying oil to it every 2 years, but since its sold as a maintenance free 200 year roof… im guessing thats not happening. As someone who worked with lead in 2m for many years, just a bit causes havoc. Just an fyi next time u wanna throw virtue signaling out there.

      Yes it’s 100% recycled extremely sustainable and lasts for decades, if not centuries.
