In the 1960's we washed/set our hair on Saturday for a week's worth of style. No heat, no damage. (Just rollers...and Aquanet.)
As a teenager in the 70's me and my older sister washed our hair, then used the foam rollers or paper bag pieces to roll our hair and Dipitty Do to hold it😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is why I hold on to them 100’s of rollers 🙌🏽🙌🏽
A wet set works on all textures of hair although the outcome might be different. For some textures, if you're looking for a straight look, you might have to go over the wet set with a flat iron. Regardless of texture, a wet set is healthier for everyone's hair because it removes the pulling of the blow dryer on wet fragile hair. You did a beautiful job with your hair!

Turmeric masks work pretty good for hyperpigmentation. Just some turmeric and a little water until it becomes a paste.

Turmeric mask does work well. Just keep your face clean and moisturizer. Do Not Pick at the bump, because it will turn black.

The Ole Henriksen (Sephora) vitamin c serum will clear it right up. After that, I’d do a gentle glycolic peel from makeup artists choice (website).

Pure lanolin aka a nipple cream (nursing moms will know) this stuff is better then aloe, neoprene, A & D as coco butter.
I've used it on stitches scares, dark marks, cold sore,hair bumps, diaper rashes, dark skin rashes
and other minor skin issues and cuts. Works well on dry feet and of course the nipples too. A little goes a long way. I just use the Target brand and it works for everyone who I used it on.

It makes the hair healthier and gives lots of bounce and is so versatile. Try turmeric. I make my own turmeric mask and turmeric toner There are recipes on the internet. 👍🏾💕👏🏾👏🏾
