It's intriguing when you think about the implications of having history in the form of these ghosts. If it is standard practice to send people to visit the ghosts, there may be less written texts about the actual events of the war and more about visiting the ghosts and how they may teach an individual. Or how to interpret them. As such when these ghosts are no longer; later generations may lose important context sooner than we do in our world. On the other hand, the residents of this world could potentially conclude such results and prepare for such a thing. Especially with the reminder of the "old world".
@@evmarekaj this is exactly the kind of thinking that the hunters guild apply to their investigations. They have contributed to the empires understanding of history by interviewing the warborn, though they understand that they aren’t the most reliable sources of information.
Keeping the spooky train going, I’d be keen to see your take on a Ghoul, which does sometimes get lumped in with ghosts and general undead but a flesh eater spirit is innately fun.
I know you said they were relitivly harmless, but If I were to provoke a warborn would it fight back? I mean like if I continued to mess with it, due to it broad mirror of being a soldier would it try to kill me?
Good question. It largely depends. The creatures will usually disappear from sight rather than fight back, however if you offend the honour of the individual they are masked as then they might draw their weapons to fend you off. That said, the warborn carry these weapons, doesn’t mean they really know how to use them.
Hm, you know I wasn’t sure if this would work considering you already have “ghostly” spirits like the Wraith and Dulhahan. Yet, somehow you pulled it off. This is a very interesting and distinct take on ghosts that makes it stand out even in your setting.
please, I need to know the name of the background music in your videos. for some reason it feels so familiar yet I just can't place where it's from. also great stuff, your work is all so interesting and beautiful!! like nothing I've ever seen, it's always breathtaking, the art, lore, and details.
@@wrait_hzoomzoom6381 thank you for the lovely comments. I’m glad that folks are enjoying these videos so much! The music is entirely made for these videos, composed by a good friend of mine.
@@Woolydroidart I see, thanks for telling me. your friend is really talented for evoking nostalgic feelings even though I've apparently never heard of it before.
Great video! How do you plan on worldbuilding time? It's a problem I have been facing regarding how time changes the world and people, so I would appreciate your opinion.
Are the Treeindain or however you spell it elves or something and are the invading humans from another world now I have watched all of these but a I've got memory problems so I could use a reminder if it's not any trouble/if you've got the time?
@nbmoleminer5051 I’ll certainly go into more detail soon, however I’d be happy to share some basic details. The Triandain empire was a coalition of multiple different races. They were one of the first prosperous societies to blossom across Artherome with their culture laying the foundation for all others to follow. They share some similarities to elves in fantasy in terms of theming but are mostly there own thing by virtue of being multiple different peoples.
@Woolydroidart Thanks for getting back to me and explaining some of it and I'll look forward to learning more about it in greater detail in the future.
"Nature is disgusted by war."

@Aterribleshame thank you!
Merry Christmas!
Happy holidays!
Who to call when ghost needed some busting?
Ghost busters!

I hate you.

@Woolydroidart you definitely gave them that kind of atmosphere with the type of encyclopedic info on spirits that you gave them
@@evmarekaj thank you😊
they look more like revnants insted of ghosts. Ur disign process is very inspiring.

I realized that these guys are basically historical reenactors.

Can we suggest some creatures that we could see your interpretation of since I might have some I want to suggest
