One thing I’m noticing with this footage is that it does not look digital at all. I’m very pleasantly surprised. And everything else this device does is just mind blowing.

As both a hobbyist and a graduate of media arts, I can say that DJI has opened possibilities for a lot of amateur filmmakers out there who used to have their creativity limited to how much their budget and equipment can give them. I own a Ronin SC, Spark and M50 (which I admit is where my budget can get me), but seeing these technologies make me aspire to be better at what I do.
DJI products truly put a smile on your face. Drones, gimbals and this 4D, all are easy to use, aesthetically unrivalled and technologically way ahead..Love

I want one. Separating the Lens from the body is a game changer. I don't think we go backwards after this. The lidar top down focusing feature is also ridiculously paradigm shifting. Nothing will look the same ever again.

Also if it’s changeable with an E Mount system that means you can use Zeiss Loxia primes as well (which is great glass also) I think this is where the GAME of industry film making changes - in 2022. If we can take that full frame "x9" off of the Ronin I'd like to see more.. Just praying they get it better than my X7.. Still plagued by image quality issues and DJI never follows up with more updates to fix much.. Be interesting if this camera can be detached and used on a possible Inspire 3 down the road.. Most likely a variation of the full frame camera for the Matrice 300.. Cheers everyone!!

Based on the RS2 and RSC2, the strength of the Ronin gimbals really lie on the motors. Bringing that power to this cinema camera will be epic.

Is it full-frame? I don’t think so since their own lens-lineup is S35, isn’t it?

I am sure this is modular and the "camera" can be adapted to whatever they have yet to announce.
