@@nrg4285 yeah as I was watching this it occurred to me that may be an option - just exit and then copy the file! super-easy and sensible I was hating on Bare Mettle quite a bit for their 'save system', but I think they must have known this was an option and now I'm okay with it well, I su ppose I still have to try and make sure it works for me, but, yeah the way it is just a singular file with whatever data stored to it, should work slick
Do you have the game installed at a custom location other than the default Steam location? If so, you need to open Salvus -> Settings -> Set Custom and save the prompt at the folder location where your game is installed to the new saves directory folder
It should, on Salvus go to Settings then click "Set Custom" button and then navigate to where your gog game is installed and find the save files directory and save the directory prompt at that folder location
You're freakin awesome man, thank you so much! (I was doing the campaign and happened upon a room with ~10 ghouls)
You are a HERO, I love this game so much but falling and dying sucks. Tysm for making this.
It's good that there are modders that remove the obvious flaws of the game. Thank you, good man.

Am I misunderstanding something or do you need to exit the game every time you want to save? Because that would be extraordinarily dumb
tysm
can we just copy the file from the saves folder ?
Yes you can manually copy and replace save files, the only point of this desktop app is to automate that
@@nrg4285 sweet! thanks much!!!!

Doesnt work. It says restored but there is only an option to begin a new game

@@nrg4285 Thnks for respose. I understood that I have to leave into the main menu and then save, a bit longer, but still works.
does this work for the gog offline installers ?
It should, on Salvus go to Settings then click "Set Custom" button and then navigate to where your gog game is installed and find the save files directory and save the directory prompt at that folder location
@@nrg4285 thanks much!
without you doing this I would have probably abandoned the game!
