You can see in SM Rookies (a segment of SM ent. were they introduce new rookies a lot of nct members are also part of it) and disney channel that they're close since literally child. Every NCT members are close to each other but markhyuck have that chemistry. It is one of the most superior ship in nct and still is. They understand each other to the fullest and undoubtedly whipped for each other lol. I can't explain much but I suggest you watch (un)helpful guide to markhyuck as they explain a lot better. You can ship them in any way you want (brothers, soulmates, lovers, etc.) But remember that mark and haechan are idols who have emotions so please don't go overboard. I hope this helps lol

with the clingy mark thing, i think haechan has stopped clinging on mark so much and started clinging more on johnny, taeil, and even doyoung a little bit, so mark feels more comfortable and is clinging on haechan as much as he does to his hyungs yuta and johnny. i just thing it's cool to see how they've changed their relationship!
mark has written it in his weekly idol profile during kick it era that his first impression of haechan was a burdensome person but now haechan is a familiar and comfortable presence to him.. so even if a lot of things have changed in their relationship, we know that they’re still close despite not being seen clinging onto each other as much as before
