Fun fact about the Huawei Mateview GT you show off in the video. If you set the Picture Mode to sRGB, it'll help a whole lot with reducing black smearing. In the UFO ghosting test, the black smear behind the UFO actually completely disappears. There's still regular ghosting, but with no black smearing, it's a ton better.

Does this work that if I have a TN Panel laptop and I buy an IPS Panel monitor, will my monitor work in IPS Panel and increase the srgb as the monitor specification?

I'm considering getting a VA monitor just to play single player games and watch movies (maybe multiplayer games) it a good choice? Since IPS is more expensive.

Yes! But again it's about getting the right monitor, very important to read around and look at reviews. I just got my Huawei Mateview GT and I think it's one of the best value ultrawides out there. Will have a review up when I get around to making it but can already recommend it if it's available in your region.

Wow nice video dude, this should have 5000 thumbs up. I have a new LG Ultra Gear IPS and my eye stran is horrible after 1 week. Had a TN for a year. I found contrast on 60 but brightness up to 90 helps, why would this be?

I’m sorry but VA panels are the 2nd worst panel technology, you wonder why? Well it’s because they have such bad viewing angles that the colors basically gets washed out. And plus all VA monitors have the same black smearing level there is only 2 in the world I believe that doesn’t have insane black smearing. But they are expensive as hell, so I recommend you guys to buy IPS monitors because they have no black smearing and almost has 0 ghosting with insane colors and super good viewing angles. I’m saying this because I’ve had a VA monitor before and it sucks. Right now I’m using a ASUS TUF VG27AQ 27” 1440p IPS 165 hz

I have the VA version of that monitor. The black smearing isn't noticeable in games, just web browsing. It has better contrast ration and it's curved. And it's a wide gamut monitor, so it can actually show more colors than the AQ, it's 120% sRGB while the AQ is 100% sRGB.

My preferred panels when buying go like this baised on current tech, qd-oled>va>tn>ips. I absolutely hate ips panels especially most of the ones on cheaper monitors if your spending less than 500 your almost always better off getting va or tn because cheap ips have really bad quality control
