Love the kids baskets Jess! My kids actually my niece and nephew I have no children of my own but I'm a Godmother and Auntie and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!! I do spoil them that's what Aunt's are f o r!! Lol. I get them candy toys and money!! Not a lit o f money us u ally 10.00 dollars for each. But the true meaning of Easter Jesus died for our sins and because he loves us so much! We keep Easter with the true meaning just like Christmas just like you guys!!!
I hate grass lol. If I need something for the bottom of my sons basket, I either use tissue paper or clothes that I got him for Easter. I have a bag of grass that I reuse every year because we hatch plastic Easter eggs (we make a nest and put empty plastic eggs in it and on Easter morning, peeps hatch from them lol) other than that, no grass here lol. Since my sons birthday is 4 days after Christmas, he has nothing to look forward to so Easter is almost like another Christmas but we do a lot of practical things like restocking his wardrobe for the following school year since it’s soo hot in California and they always put out the summer clothes before Easter. He also gets a new swim suit, sandals and towel every year because it’s something he will need for the summer. So even though we go big for Easter, there is no junk. The one thing I got him this year that’s actually been in a lot of Easter Basket videos I have seen is the pop it fidget toy. That is the only item that I would consider even remotely junkie (and it’s not) that’s in his basket. We also focus on the true meaning of Easter just like we do with Christmas. I always tell my son, we focus on the truth with some fun thrown in. Love Lucy’s stuffie. She is going to be soo excited and your right....Mark will be happy with stuff to put in his mouth lol. And of course, Nate will be happy with his fav. Snacks. Can’t wait for the new videos in your new place. Once again, congrats. I am soo extremely happy for you guys :) wow, is this really the 5th year? I remember the first one :)
I bought books for my nieces and nephews for bedtime reading with their parents and a few candy items which mom & dad may eat because the younger kids are between 3 months and 2 years old. My two older nieces I bought learning how to draw animals & coloring books because they love that & a few candy items. The books were on sale because the bookstore is going out of business, so $30 for 6 kids isn’t bad at all. :)
I love watching these videos too. I always do outside stuff. Chalk, bubbles, kites, new swim trunks, sandals, beach towels, pool toys, sand toys, stuff like that and of course lots of treats too!
Was planning on going to Target for Easter basket stuff today! So perfect timing! My son is 2 and I’m trying to make sure there are Easter themed snacks that aren’t just candy lol
I loved this it made me think of mine when I was little I’m 17 now so I don’t really care for them but my mom usually always gets me money and candy but she always teaches me the real reason of easter
