Another AWE inspiring, chill bump making, SWEET video by our "Southern Bee The Queen" 🐝🐝 bee keeper 💖😅!!❤ ABSOLUTELY 💯% ❤ love your channel!!
I just did my first hive inspection, on my first ever hive. I’m so excited, they have capped brood, nectar, and honey. You have taught me so much I can’t thank you enough. I watch you all the time. What amazing little creatures!!
We just did our second one ever!
Any suggestions on classes?
Beekeeping is something I have to get to know better. 🐝🐝🐝Thanks for sharing. 🤗
Wow! i knew bee swarms tend to be more docile, but this is far beyond that...amazing!
I’m not a bee keeper - but we downed a dead hollow tree in our yard only to find a 4 year old bee hive. Had two beekeepers come and remove the hive and relocate it to the county extension master gardener center. It was a great experience
You have reminded me that it’s ok to be in love with my “girls” and not be ashamed of talking about them like they are my children. I lost my first hive when I had to go home for a funeral and I was devastated. I cried as if I had buried my best friend. Now I have watched you this season and I am ready to have a another group of gals to sing to and watch come in at the end of the day. And if they swarm, it’s nothing personal it’s because they know how beautiful this world really is.
Love the effort you put into these videos. It shows!
Also, nice to see you without a full bee suit on. I love handling bees bare handed, it’s a fantastic experience.

Love your veil! where did you get it?
I agree I'd love to get one of these vails for my daughter
Your Passion is contagious 🐝Loved!!!!🥰❤️
You are an inspiration along with extremely beautiful. I am so scared of bee's ever since I was stung by a European hornet but you are teaching me so much that I'm starting to love honey bees again. Thank you 😘😘
Amazing video it always gives a sense of peace watching bees. I was gonna start a tirade on humans and how different to bees we are but will just leave it at that. Watching those bees gave me feelings of peace and joy. Thank you.
Great job of patiently moving the ladies to their new home. I like your idea of using the frame to move the bees and search for the queen. You did a great job! Well done!
I got my first swarm this year and I loved it.... I think this is one of my favorite things to do now :)
Fashinating !!!
Thank you !!!
Blessings +++!!!
Bee-autiful
We had honeybees that built comb very high in a tree that dripped honey all over my husbands car, which was how we found them. It was so high it was barely visible. They stayed for the summer, but there was nothing we could do to move them to safety. I was very happy to have them, but sad for their unprotected home.
My first encounter with bees en-masse was when I collected my first bees from a footpath. The march was amazing to see in person after watching it before during my research phase before beekeeping. That was last year.
Since then I have done a very cold New Year's Eve rescue cut-out of a small colony in a cut down tree! This year both of the colonies are doing well, especially given atrocious weather patterns we've had in Kent, UK. Always love to see whats going on in your little corner of the planet.
I've been around enough to watch your channel grow just like your bees. I truly appreciate your gentile nature and love for the "girls". Such a pleasure when I receive a notification of new videos. Please keep up the GREAT work!
LOVELY. we pick up our girls on tuesday and I have their box all ready plus 2 more on reserve for splits or swarms. Your videos always made me tear up! Bees are just something else. They have a forever wildness that just can't be tamed. It is wonderful.
💛💛💛 I’m soooo excited for you!!
@@TheHoneystead thank you!!
Nice job on the gentle ‘capture’. Really great fanning of the fanny shots!
What a surprise to wake up to. 🐝🐝. Amazing to just see them walk onto frames and boxes. I could watch them fanning all day. Thanks for sharing. . Have a great Friday and also weekend. . 🐝🐝
Better than the strongest coffee you could have lol!
There is a beehive inside the back wall of my garage for the past three years. They went in thru a pipe. So i am going to binge watch all your videos and try to 🐝 keep them because we are going to convert our garage into an ADU, therefore that wall is going to get demolished. 💔 I hope I can learn enough in time before this happens in the next few months.
Have a look at 628dirtrooster and Jeff Horchoff for ideas on what you can expect when dismantling a building to access bees. Definitely not for the faint hearted... And I'm sure Vinofarm is approved by Kaylee too.
I really love your method of catching swarms. Walking on the frames is so gentle rather than shaking them. Shaking them you could lose the swarm if the Queen says I’m outta here😂🤣😜😁
Such beauty 🐝💛🍯
My 4 year old daughter watched this whole thing with me lol she loves bees
I haven't had a chance to finish your visit to homesteaders conference yet. Nice chat with the fit farmer. Looking forward to seeing the rest to see if you talked to any other Y Tubers. Nice swarm catch. I would like a update on the "Amazon " hive. I'm figuring the new Queen has got the girls pretty chill by now. I am curious though about the idea of keeping a hive or two at the other end of my 10 acres for trespassers and perhaps keeping some of those genetics around for potential occasional upgrades. I like the idea of genetic diversity. Anyway, have a great day.
Guard bees.... intentional damage to the unsuspecting trespassers.
@@brigittemiller1444 I hope I wasn't mis understood. True the trespassers might get stung ( they are trespassing and I have no problem protecting my property) however just the bee's coming out in numbers should discourage them from being where they shouldn't be in the first place. It's a potential solution to a problem.
That's awesome and lovely and spiritual ❤️🐝 thank you for sharing this with us
New to your channel and you are a man at this
Nice bees. We are just going into winter where I am and still the girls are out every day foraging. I'm preparing my swarm catcher boxes now for next season. I love the whole business of catching and rehoming swarms.
Welcome home to you and the girls! Good job and thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
I added boxes to my 3 hives last night. It was definitely time. At the rate they're going, I'll need to add more in a couple weeks.
Very happy you caught that gentle swarm, and that you shared another strategy with us!!
Thank you!!!
The Honey bee whisperer 💛🤗
Great video. Popped up in my recommends. Glad you were able to capture the swarm. You have a very gentle touch with them.
Always great to see a swarm catch!!
Thanks.
Sweet!!!! Yeah, I have captured at least 15 swarms this year already. Just filmed another yesterday! :) Great Videos!!!!!
Hi Kaylee, I’ve found if you have a frame of eggs, young larvae or even brood the just go straight onto the frame. They naturally want to protect any brood, theirs or someone else’s. Awesome job thanks for sharing. TrickyTrev 🇦🇺👍🐝🐝🍯🍯
That’s really neat, great video!!!!
I had to work all day yesterday...just went to check my first swarm trap... SUCCESS! Got my first swarm (in the trap)! 🙂🐝. Waiting for dark to pick them up.
Today I experienced my 1st swarm, they where in my apple tree about 6ft up. I had to double stack a 5 framer due to it was all I had available. No drawn frames, but did drop in a frame feeder, like you hoping the weather permits I’ll map a frame or two from different hives I have to boots them. Thanks for the video.always exciting to see stuff like this!
I love catching swarms . One thing I do once the majority of the bees migrate to their new box I will go into one of my strong colonies and pull one frame of capped brood , a frame of pollen and honey and then let the swarm do their thing .
💞💞💞💞🐝🐝🐝💞💞💞💞 so so so sweet!
I've seen an ant channel, and a spider channel, and a bee channel. Personally if I decided to raise insects, bees would be among the top choices. They're cute, honey is great, and they're relatively friendly. I certainly don't see Ants Canada bare handing his pets.
Wow so nice and gentle :)
Thank you
Love swarm catching 🐝🐝 Caught a very small cast swarm on Wednesday. They where very wet and cold but I have given them a home
Hi kailee sorry if I spelt your name wrong but I’m the girl that met you at the warehouse and I love your channel
Hi darling! 💛💛💛 thank you
You always make it look so easy❣️👍🏼🐝🐝🐝
thanks for the videos and info. I caught my first 2 swarms this past week from my apiary. I never found a queen in either but so far they have stayed in their new boxes. It was really fun although I have been trying to keep them from swarming. Now between splitting and swarming I went from 2 colonies to 8.
I caught a swarm in a swarm trap yesterday! So exciting and easy!!!
Mizzzz Bee, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
💛💛💛💛💛
You are amazing and awesome, thank you And keep the videos coming
As I have already told you my wife and I just got out first three nuks this year. We have not got to swarm stage yet. I'm sure your videos Will be hardy soon. Thank you for what you do...
love the music
Good yes
Really good video work, it is so clear and beautiful.
What makes them want to walk onto a frame? Do you put some propylis on it? Beautiful colony ❤
Need to keep a few swarm traps around your property to catch your swarms so you dont lose them
heya 1 more nice caught
Sooooo cool 😎 Love it Love it
🐝🐝🐝🐝
Have a good evening 🌷🌷🌷
I need a bare handed old fashioned
Amazing, has it ever happened that bee swarm took a place from tall trees, and how did you deal with the matter? Especially because I saw giant trees around the place.
If they do another remake of the Adams Family *this* is who I hope does *Mortisha* (she has all the signature features & such a pleasant appearance) She does so well with the bees & farm its very inspiring (thank you Honeysted hope to follow/friend you on Twitter) #beequeen 🐝
alsooo you are a beautiful beeeeeee
wow great work...i impress your video
Wow! You made that look easy enough! 🙌🏻👍🏻🐝🐝🐝🐝 You might have said in the video but did you use any kind of attractant/scent to lure them on the frame?
Hello I wonder why you allow the bee to give a son Turkey greentings 🤔🙏
Where did you get your bee veil? I was looking through videos and can’t find where you mention it. Thanks. We love learning from you.
Those veils are from Bella Beek on Facebook/Instagram. I don’t have one (yet) so no review to give but they’re gorgeous!! 😍
Nice looking bees. I love your technique.
One question: is that Honey Suckle growing on the timbers of your fence?
It is! :)
It sure looks like it to me... you stole my question!🤣😂🤠🐝🐝
Can the bees get their little tongues down the honeysuckle flower?
@@reneemoorefrost4871 I didn't know for and it seemed a worthy question. ruclips.net/video/MgXTq3KzH1M/видео.html
How do cicadas and honey bees interact? Do they ignore each other or do they 'fight?' Curious since it is currently the Brood X
We haven’t had seen them quite yet!
Where did you get your hat from and do you think it will keep gnats out to
Cant you put in the a few frames fom their old box?
Yes, but at the moment, I wasn’t 100% sure which one it came from 😜 I added a few frames for them and they are happy as can bee!
@@TheHoneystead Lovely. This is my first year. Two hives. Loving them!!
love your vial
There's always something happening at the stead.
Never a dull moment for sure!
Lovely job, looks like U put the B back in Bee with those Girls. 😄 you have that ladies Gentle Touch. I surely admire the bees more and more everyday. I am Larry, I have watch a few of your videos, and decided to subscribe. What state are you in?

Well sweetie I would like to know if you made that vail or bought it and where ;if you made it would you make another for me and how much . Please reply Rob.
How about a flow up on how all of these captured swarms are progressing?
Sure!
I love your face ❤
I made a swarm trap in hopes of starting colonies from local bees. Is it necessary to use frames with comb or to feed them anything, or could I catch and hold a swarm with empty frames or even new wax foundation frames? I have e lemon grass that I will use as an attractant.
Find a local bee club to join. Beekeepers are always glad to mentor new bee keepers. They may offer classes.
What type of paint do you use to paint your hives?
🤗💐
Hey beautiful
Why your frames are dark?
I love your hood. Can you tell me where I can get one for my wife?
Check out Bella Beek 💛💛💛💛
How do I share pics and videos with you
