i was inspired by the killing voice to revisit their whole discography and every few songs i'm like omg i forgot about that one!! omg i forgot about that one too!!! like two that came up today were lucky one (everyone lost their minds over monster but i looooved lucky one) and hurt which was an absolute banger of a bside from the exodus album. so many gems in their discography!

Power was actually used as a finale for their concert tour in 2018. They used a remixed version so it was even more cool. You can react to the concert sequence. I believe it includes Diamond, Coming Over, Run This, Drop That, and Power.
Power was also played during exploration 5 (2019). Everybody was jumpin’! It was my favorite part of the concert. They were also throwing balls with their sign on it.
Yes, "Growl" was a song from EXO's first full album XOXO, which was released in 2013. However, they debuted in 2012 with their first extended play album Mama, with their debut title track "Mama." Therefore, SHINee debuted almost exactly 4 years before EXO. SHINee is part of second generation and EXO are the beginning of third generation. Although, the SHINee members and EXO members were in a lot of the same trainee classes together and even lived together as trainees. All the members of SHINee and EXO are around the same age.
Kim JunMyeon (Suho), who is now the leader of EXO, was even originally training as a member of SHINee, but he got injured and had to stop training for a while, so SM decided to debut SHINee without him. That's why SHINee's Minho and EXO's Suho are so close and why SHINee's Taemin and EXO's Kai are best friends. (Taemin is only 6 months older than Kai and they entered SM as trainees within a few months of each other. Taemin was 11 and Kai was about 12. The more you get to know SHINee, you will discover that Taemin and Kai are a lot alike. Over the years they have even been called twins.)
SHINee's Jonghyun and Onew are considered two of the best vocalist in the industry, who, even as rookies, were vocal coaches and mentors to a lot of SM's trainees, including some of the members of EXO. Although EXO are known as the vocal kings of the Kpop industry, SHINee are the original vocal kings. Which just goes to show you why they are both SM groups.
SM Entertainment is considered the vocal powerhouse of the Kpop industry. All of SM's artists get intense vocal training, including their rappers. (Just look at EXO's Chanyeol on the far left and Sehun on the far right -- and SHINee's Minho and Key -- who are the rappers of their groups, and, yet, they each have amazing singing voices. How often do you see rappers that can sing as well as them?) As you are starting to discover, even SM's rappers could fill in as main vocalists in their groups. One thing SM artists are known for is the fact that they all can sing live while performing intense choreography for hours in concert and still sound flawless the whole time.
As you just saw, "Miracles in December" is a song that is only sung by EXO's three main vocalists, Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. However, you will see all 12 EXO members in the MV because it's telling another part of EXO's story.
Fun fact: EXO's "The Eve" was co-wrote and composed by Henry Lau from Super Junior-M and he sings a short demo version of the song in English, ruclips.net/video/2K_mHXCbQwM/видео.html. Once you have seen EXO's dance practice video for "The Eve" -- which is a B-side song on their War album -- you should also check out a clip of Henry in the recording studio singing the song. Henry is the youngest member of Super Junior -- who are a senior group to EXO, also under SM Entertainment -- and he is considered a music genius. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian, so his first language is English. He recorded a demo of the song so everyone can hear the English lyrics that he wrote and get a feel for the original style of the song.
EXO's "Power" was also used as one of the theme songs, along with their song "Growl," during the 2018 winter Olympics. EXO even performed both songs during the closing ceremony. As "the nation's boy group," EXO was the only Kpop group to be selected to perform at the Olympics. If you like the sound of "Power" in this video, just wait until you see their live remixed version of the song. You should check out their "Diamond" + "Coming Over" + "Run This" + "Drop That" + "Power" set at their EXOPLANET #4 The ElyXiOn in Seoul in 2017.

Power was the first kpop song played in Dubai fountain. They performed that in Winter Olympics closing ceremony.

EXO debut in 2012 with mini album MAMA with the title song under the same name, which is 4 years after SHINee (but SM also had girl group F(x) in between them in 2009)))
But it was the first comeback in 2013 with Growl (from the 1st Full Album Repackaged) that earned them the first win and their first record (first artists in 12 years to sell a 1 million copies of their album in Korea).

Thanks for reacting to EXO once again! All EXO title tracks are top-tier, but the real goldmine lies in their b-sides! Their entire discography is quite massive and diverse. They recently made history again with their latest album, EXIST, which became their 20th #1 album!
THE EVE is one of their legendary b-sides. It has no MV, but its dance practice alone has even garnered 145,977,501M views as I write.

If you havent noticed, SM Ent is known for having exemptionally strict and high standards with vocals and technique, which is why almost everybody if not all of the members of every single SM group CAN sing. Even for those members who people would say have 'weaker' vocals for sure can carry a pitch and can even hit high notes. You can check out other SM artists' killing voice here like NCT Dream's which was a gift to us a week after this one came out lol, and if you havent yet im not sure lol, theres also Taeyon (SNSD) and NCT 127. They all slay as they always do

You should definitely check out the EDM parts of their concerts. Particularly EXO'rDIUM and Elyxion. Drop That, Run, Run This, Diamond, and Power Remix.
They have a 10-year discography. Exo has music that cover several genres, you never know what you'll here next, even within the same album. They also have great winter albums. They are not necessarily Christmas songs, but warm and wintery. There are great songs from their discography that would take your breathe away.....these 11 snippets of songs can never cover so many of the favorites...they seriously should have a part 2 and 3 killing voice, how do 11 songs cover 10 years worth of music? Seriously. Yes, many songs only have lyric videos only available, but come on. These 11 songs only scratch the surface. But thanks for enjoying their music.

Others have suggested it - but watching your reaction to a number of things, including this Killing Voice, and loving "Power" so much, plus your background in EDM, you simply must react to "Exo - EXOPLANET #4 'Diamond+Coming Over+Run This+Drop That+Power' Live Performance" - I think you might just jump out of your skin. If we they want to cover all EXO's phenomenal songs a whole day killing voice episode will not be enough. They are litterally a group with no single bad song. Their b-sides are as good as the TT. The EVE is one their b-sides and went viral even non kpop fans know it.
