Loving the drone vibes. Honestly the first beach cove looked the best imo. Alan's happy taco face is the best, also I feel ya guys on the getting old part. Lol.
Hi!! Thanks for writing!! I think if you're not a strong swimmer, it's always a good idea to bring a life vest if you are headed out on the ocean! I know some of the tours provide them... though I cannot recall if the water taxi did - a lot of boats do have them on board somewhere as an option though. If you want to be sure, we saw them for sale pretty affordably at bigger markets (Like Soriana!) and I bet some small oceanfront shops carry them too!
*I have been here. It's gorgeous! Just take a taxi or uber to the town named "Boca De Tomatlan" which is about 40 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta and from there you can take a 🚤 small boat that will take you to the 5 beaches. You just tell them which beach to take you to and pick up time orrr you can hike there. One of the 5 beaches, "Las Animas" has 🍽 restaurants & chaise lounge chairs. If you go to the other 4 beaches make sure to bring a lunch & water.* *The water is an emerald green.* *Playa Colomitos is the smallest beach in Mexico. Enjoy your trip!* 🤩
That was small town friendliness from that guy. That IS a beautiful hike. Oh, those waters!! “Smallest beach in all of Mexico.” And an awesome one! Along with the others you’ve found! You found the beach…but i’d be all for the more secluded ones! 🚦🌮!!!! 🛑4🌮!!!! That looks 😮🤤!! As does the sunset. Even with the only part you saw. Wow.
Wow amazing place my friend i already remember the beaches in my province of romblon2 philippines..thank you for sharing some places my friend..keep safe booth of you.
Thank you!! Hope you’re doing well!! I definitely want to go pink again! This was actually after I messed it up and why I let it wash out!! But I wanted a more neon color!! I’ll have to try again!
I think Colomitos is way better than Las Animas. You get there with enough energy left to enjoy the day. I saw people all tired, sweaty, struggling and they continue the walk up that big hill from Colomitos without even taking a moment to take it in. It's not for everyone but stop at Colomitos, wait out the boat people and you've got a private beach until the next day. If you ever go back, I recommend taking a boat to Yelapa and walking to Isabella. For me the mass of people is not ideal. Could also make camp at the waterfall in Quimixto.
Most people that go to Yelapa don't go further than the bar. Some check out the village itself, maybe the small waterfall, but far fewer take the boat and then go on to Isabella.
Woohoo looks like you’re having a mega time in Mexico! Amazing drone shots, and beautiful edits. You really captured the vibe here and loved the hike 🙌 we’re usually based in Puerto Escondido, but really wish we made it up to Puerto Vallarta!
It was so nice to be there, especially after suffering in Europe's cold!! lol Thank you so much! Where are you guys right now?? You should definitely make the trip to PV when you get the chance! It is beautiful!
You've got the Spanish words correct, you just need to work a bit on your pronunciation. ;^) Thanks for this vid though, as we've wanted to do this hike for a while.
We definitely just need to practice practice practice! I (Brandi) have been thinking about enrolling in some Spanish classes again! It has been years since my last one. Hope you both enjoy the hike! It is gorgeous!! :) Are you living in Vallarta?
Thank you!!! I had a big oopsie that day and didnt realize I had bumped the lens stabilization off until we made it to town! 🤦 That combined with my tendency to shake the camera as is didn't look great! hahaha Glad you enjoyed it despite the camera work!! :D
@@AwakeAbroad Thanks guys!! Hope Puerto is still treating you well! We have a canon eos R and a couple of these shots were on my phone! Nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done!!

I am watching this at dinner time and damn do those tacos look good…
Ugh they’re amazing!!!! What did you have?

Thank you!! The first was definitely the most picturesque!
Ugh it's the worse right? Can we rewind to our 20yo bodies? lol
Question….Thanks for the vid. I’m not a strong swimmer, would you recommend a life vest to bring to these adventures??

Stop singing when you speak Spanish lol
Hey I’m trying to learn and am a bit slow when I have to think about what to say. At least I’m trying. :)
This just got me hungry.
Don’t worry, tacos do that to me too 🤣
