I know this is an ancient video but for anyone looking up this review now (mid 2016) here are a few comments. *1- Dongle.* Don;t get a hard adapter, get one with a wire so you can minimise stress on your cameras connector. *2- Mono sound.* Converting a 2 channel mono track to a true mono track (that comes out of 2 speakers) is very easy and isn;t much work at all unless you don;t do any editing of your videos at all. Fixing this in post literally takes 1 to 2 minutes depending on how you do it. Even if you do it the "hard way" it should only take 2 minutes. Here is an example of a ridiculously convoluted way of fixing this: - Load your video into VLC - Export it out as a MP3 - Load the MP3 into Audacity - Click on Tracks > Stereo track to Mono - Export Audio - Load your video into your editor - Load your mp3 into your editor - Delete or mute the videos original audio track DONE. And this was the ridiculously convoluted way. Depending on your editor you could probably do this in your video editor in 2 or 3 clicks. *3- HAcked up wire* Instead of messing around with sliced up cables you can get an adapter that can switch your 1/4 TS to 1/8 TRS for about 3$Can on Amazon / Monoprice.
Nice video mate! Been shooting video a while now, it's been ok indoors but when I've been out I have been plugging a lapel mic into a zoom h1 then syncing it up with video. This is starting to get really tedious especially after a lot of video so I just ordered one of these. Didn't realise its in mono so that will be a nice pain the arse to sort out lol. Thanks for putting this up though :)

Very good review
Olá, sou do Brasil e gostei do vídeo. Me diz uma coisa: Para você ter os dois canais de áudio da DSLR, você montou os fios?
excellent ...great man..superb for me
thank you so much sir☺😊👍👍
You could clean up those wires by getting a 1/4" adapter to 3.5MM stereo plug, instead of the mono plug you show in the video...
your hrlp me to solotion my problem thank you
Can you describe the cable setup you use? I'm having trouble getting it from the video.
You can purchase this 6.35 mm mono to 3.5 mm jack stereo and bypass my setup for $3. amzn.com/B004C4UJ1K
Can you use a different mic like an audiotechnica branded lavalier mic and hook it on the transmitter? Also, can it take 2 transmitters?
Aldrich Allen Barcenas yes you can us a different mic on the system. I don't know if it can take two transmitters. Don't have a second one to try.
CAN I MAKE MY ELECTRIC GUITAR GO WIRELESS WITH THIS ??
+Shomesh Singha I don't have a Guitar so I would not know but I don't see why not. Maybe someone can reply to this if they know.
