The statistics show that the percentage of Hindis who do charity work is greater than the percentage of Christians who do charity work. Christians do more volunteer work than non-religious people, but the volunteer work Christians do is primarily for their own church. Non-religious people do more volunteer work for people like these people, who actually need it. I am glad to see Christians supporting homeless and hungry people. Tragically, the Christians in political office are not doing the same. If they did, there would be very few homeless people, like in Norway.
Let's hope the government can increase minimum wage, create more affordable housing, and healthcare, including mental health care, minimize airbnb, etc. and continue to address the systemic issues resulting in poverty. Getting to the root cause and addressing wealth inequity will reduce poverty significantly, as in Norway. But, of course, the wealthy elite have no interest in sharing, and distract by scapegoating minority groups.
Hands on spreading the love of Jesus. Great Disciples doing God's work to help one another .

They're not experiencing "unhousedness"?
I hope these people are receiving support without being coerced into being Christian.
