From the head unit, did you just hook up the front speakers to the front RCA, and the tower speakers to the Rear/Sub RCA? Or did you hook up the front and rear speakers to the Front RCA from the head unit with a y splitter? Thanks
I’m running the same set up, do you have rca cables to the second amp or how are you giving it signal ? I have the one amp running front and rear speakers then a rca splitter running to the sun amp ?
I grounded to the chassis and the positive went to the battery. Remote turn on went to the head unit. Does not drain the battery with both amps hooked up.
I just went with this exact same amp and subwoofer setup. Every time I plug in the bass remote my sub completely shuts off. Did you have any issues with this?
Is there enough room to position the seat to the lower position? I really want a sub but I’m tall and even prefer my passenger seat in the lower position when I’m not driving my X3 turbo R 2 seater. Thanks!
We make a low profile sub box that'll work in the lower position. Available for driver and passenger side applications. Here's a link! www.utvstereo.com/collections/can-am-x3-subwoofers/products/low-profile-driver-sub-box

@@UTVStereo I was I ended up getting sundown shollow subs . I ended up making my own boxes . Sounds nice. Some of the guys I ride with want me to make them boxes now. I'm currently using a regular amp. Phoenix gold. I'm looking for a marine amp to push those 12's under my seats . It sounds good now but i want a marine amp. Thank you though.
Bruh i put 2 15 inch sundown audio’s in the back of mine witha ported box and it was just enough you put one 10 in a sealed box in a free air vehicle bass is probably not there or just washed out
Claimed 0.5 cu . I have/had a shallow sundown in it and...... It sucks.. Took it out until I get a matching cu shallow speaker. And facing up held water every swamp and wash leading to leak through voice coil rust... Still to this minute trying to work on something else like down fire sub boxes
@@chrisgoetz3889 I got a down firing sub at first , They suck . It rattles all the plastic . I got an UTV stereo small box with kickers shallow now it’s sound better . But not the sounds I wanted . I’m looking for a Up firing box that will fit a full size 10 now .
@@angelasuncion8395 you could make rings to go around like a sub spacer and raise the mounting depth in these boxes. That's what I did to fit a shallow sundown 10. Sundown 10's are not shallow lol 😁👍
@@chrisgoetz3889 it’s sound good in the lower volumes . The moment you play it louder , it Will rattle the plastic and sound horrible . But if you got an aluminum or steel slider It might sounds better .
I'm glad I found you channel. I was already scoping these out to add a little base to a big mtx sound bar I got. Looks like that would be perfect
Yeah its not the crazy bass, but it's enough to add real depth to music.
Great job on the video! Thanks for repping our enclosures!
Absolutely, you guys make a great product!
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad Thank you! We appreciate that!
What did you use to change the level in the bass of the sub? Also the system sounds amazing 🔥
Some amps come with bass controllers if it dont come with one you can get a rca level controller
Did you add a second battery at all?
So how is it all holding up on the trails?
Hey man, Do you use a second battery or works fine with just
the factory one ??

What settings do you have on both amps?
HAVE U DONE A REVIEW ON THE TRAILER,THAT U USE TO HUAL YOUR SIDE BY SIDE
Are these subwoofers better then the ones that come with the Rockford fosgate stage 5?
Obviously not
Can you use these with mb quart stereo??
I think I got a stage 3 sound system but I need bass
I’m running the same set up, do you have rca cables to the second amp or how are you giving it signal ? I have the one amp running front and rear speakers then a rca splitter running to the sun amp ?
I used a splitter .
Quick question, where did you hook up the amp straight to the battery or to the accessory port?
& does it drain your battery?
I grounded to the chassis and the positive went to the battery. Remote turn on went to the head unit. Does not drain the battery with both amps hooked up.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad oh okay thank you, so you can listen to music with the car turn off & won’t drain your battery?
@@wendeldelaparicio17negative he meant it won’t drain as long as you have car running, if ut turn off just music it will drain battery
When you wash the can am do you cover the amps? Or are they waterproof?
I have blasted them with water and they are all good. Says they are water resistant/proof.
I just went with this exact same amp and subwoofer setup. Every time I plug in the bass remote my sub completely shuts off. Did you have any issues with this?
Not at all. Maybe it's a faulty gain knob?
Did you put it in your can am? If so, is one enough?
