If Lebron wants to play with his son, he should go into semi-retirement and let his son develop his skills for another year in college. And then once Bronny is ready, join whatever team drafts him for the vet minimum. Asking his son to skip this development stage of his career solely so he can play a season with him could ruin his son's career.

To be honest, I think it’s ridiculous. Just yesterday there was talk of him entering the transfer portal. But now he’s declaring for the draft but also able to keep his college eligibility and transfer portal status. So if he doesn’t get drafted or more realistically if he gets drafted in the second round, he can just decide to go back to college and give it another chance next year. Nobody else would be allowed to keep their college eligibility and transfer portal status if they declared for the draft.

Personally I don't care if he's drafted and doesn't "deserve it." The reason I don't care is that he won't be drafted in the 1st round. A team will take a chance on him, in the same way teams were willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Steph Curry's brother. They'll think being Lebron's son means that Bronny might develop into a solid piece. And then, if Bronny sucks, his career and minutes will reflect that. I really don't see much of a problem. We all need to remember that most 2nd round draft picks don't turn into anything notable.

This is all about the Sr not Bronny, Lebron said several times in the past if any of his sons made an NBA team that he would play with them at any cost.. Watch out NBA fans Utah has hella picks and Lebron never plays when here! This is going to be funny!

lol...now the Lakers have to draft bronny as a undrafted free agent, give up a roster spot to a kid who would not start in the ACC!?!?!? lol...badly ran franchise but hey....they did get a plastic bubble ring in disneyworld.

People want to dismiss the fact that NBA nepotism doesn’t exist. Look at Giannis, he is not only gets 1 brother but 2 brothers… this is why Lebron still not retire, because Bronny will never be drafted with his current stat alone without Lebron

I think Bronny doesn’t want to play with his dad. I think he wants his own path. Hence the keep the options open narrative. If he gets drafted it won’t be by the lakers. If he doesn’t he will transfer and stay in school. I think Bronny gets a long with his father but we all remember being that age. We couldn’t wait to get the hell out of the house and away from the family. 😂😂😂

He made the right decision to enter the draft. His father is getting him drafted to the Lakers to give him opportunity to play on the second unit. If he goes to another NBA team, he will most likely be warming the bench the entire season.

LeBron can unilaterally make his son an NBA player, even if he isn't one. Who on Earth would pass that up?

A large number of sports coaches got their jobs because of nepotism, and so did many broadcasters. Let's not mention team front offices, which are littered with family members in various positions.

Bro, Bronny missed 5 months so all of the pre season camps and practices, and then he was on a team with no coach and a bunch of shot jackers lol. His skill set and intelligence will translate almost immediately he won’t be a star but he can be a vital contributor on both ends of the floor. He will start as the 15th man and have to work his way up.
