I had the exact same bike in 1976. I bought it new. It was unsold 1974 stock in Lime Green. Still have the brochure, which covered the 175 F7, 250 F12 & 350 F9. It was first new bike. I sold a Yamaha DS7 250 twin to buy it. Remember those anybody ?? It also had a slight problem where it wouldn't rev out cleanly. It liked to splutter a bit in the high revs. Sold it once I got my full licence & bought a near new condition, Kawasaki H2A 750 in Gold....what a scary difference that was. Thanks for the memories 👍
This is one of my favourite videos you’ve done. The F11 is a great bike. And the places you ride are fantastic. Your braver the me. I’d be scared for the tank. If you came off on those rocky slippery goat trails. But great video. Still looking forward to seeing that Elsinore mt250 restored. Those little Honda’s are a very pretty little bike and very capable too. Well done 👏
I’ve never rode a Kawasaki F11 but I have a ke250b1 it rides fantastic. From your video I’d say the ke pulls more and has more power. I will end up buying a F11 when I come across the right bike . I think the F11 is my favourite of your bikes. I also own a couple Honda MT s. DT250MX a DT400B and 6 more twinshock early 70s motocross bikes I’d love to bring a couple across and join up for a ride I’ve rode there a few times but always on big touring bikes. Your videos are inspirational well done. You have a beautiful collection get a ke250B1. You’ll love the smooth power and the kx inspired frame and suspension with the laid down shocks. It’s definitely your cup of tea.
Beautiful! I picked on up a few months back with under 600 miles on the clock. I don't think I will find as nice a scenic place as you have to ride it, but I do intend to take it off road. Ha! Good riding and a hoagie. My perfect day right there.
Really really well done video!! I had a '75 F-11! Best purchase I ever made.... It was almost 20 years old at the time but in great shape. Only paid $200.00!! Only ever needed spark plugs and a front tire, great bike!
I had the exact same bike in the 70s I've been watching videos of bikes and all the memories came back. So I went out and bought a 2003 KX 250 3 years ago. Best investment I've made in years.
I just went back in time when I was 11 years old and used to ride this same Kawasaki green color 250cc I remember using a fire hydrant to get on to the bike, I was to short lol ,, but this is like riding it back then! The handle bars and sound took me back in time,,, thanks for sharing...
Thank you for showing us a very nice example of the Kawasaki F11! That is the first bike I ever owned, I started riding it at the age of 12. I did many crazy things on it! Mine was the Candy Lime color. I see that your bike is in Candy Yellow. I no longer own my original F11, but I now have 2 of them that I plan to restore, 1 of them in each color. P.S. The scenery is fantastic!
Excellent Video ! I remember riding those bikes back when I worked at a Kawasaki dealer in santa ana California . I just restored a 1970 Suzuki TS 250 Savage . Stay safe .
Thank you, Micou! I love your video! Thank you for taking me with you. France is a beautiful country! My friend Paul had one when we were attending the university, back in 1976. He kindly allowed me to ride it! Great Bike!!
Merci Micou. La F11 donne envie en tous cas ...
This more fog in the valley than clouds. I am ridding at around 1000 m / 3000 ft, so the engine run normaly. This is the Tarn river canyons, in south of France.
Yeah I'm the 100th person to like this video & have just purchased a unrestored bike of the same model but in need of a lot of TLC, enjoyed your video can't wait to ride mine one day !!!
My first Bike was this puppy..beat the Hell out of it on the road and did a few Motorcross races with it, basically stock {never won or came close to winning, but what the Hell?}...what is the seat height?, I'm 5' 10' but have short legs, but unlike most Kawasaki Bikes today, I don't remember having issues with the seat height.
Hello. In all of my two stroke bikes, I use a very standard two stroke mineral oil, not a synthetic one. Nowadays, the oils are of a by far better quality than in the seventees. No problems.
I just recently discovered your channel, and I absolutely love your bikes and your videos Micou. Definitely takes me back to the days of my youth! I remember every one of these bikes when they were new (except the '69 DT250... I was only 8 years old then). I so enjoyed your videos that I have shared your channel on a couple Facebook groups I belong to. Check out "Dirty Old Enduro Farts" and also "Vintage Enduro Buyers, and Sellers Guide".
Hi there guys and girls I’ve just got a 1974 f11 imported to the uk and still waiting for it to be registered so can’t take it on the road it runs fine but I’m not sure of the gear ratio is it 1up 4down or 1down 4up I tried to pull away 1down as standard in the uk but stalled when I tried 1up was ok which has made me question the ratio
Hello Joey. I know only one japanese bike with the first gear up, this is my mini Yamaha FT1 (the four gears up). I can't understand what can be wrong with your F11 ???

Bought that bike new when I was a kid. Yes I'm older than dirt. Thanks for the memories!
I had this bike and I loved it.
Bought one of these brand new in Australia in 1975, paid $875, lot of money, great bike of road.
Thank you, Micou! I love your video! Thank you for taking me with you. France is a beautiful country! My friend Paul had one when we were attending the university, back in 1976. He kindly allowed me to ride it! Great Bike!!
I still have mine that I bought new. Same color, all original.
I had one just like this about 10 years ago. After riding for a bit it would just die out. I sold it at a huge loss after only having it for a year.

I owned one in Colorado ,went over a lot of passes loaded down with sleeping bags tent most reliable bike I've owned.
I bought a Kawasaki 1977 ke250 com Colorado about five years ago great bike.
Wish we had places to ride like that in the UK!.
Riding above the clouds and still carburating cleanly...wow...where is this?

I would just hat to lay it down on something that’s considered classic like that, but I’d probably take one for mine if I got the chance.
I'm restoring a KDX175 now. 1 more week till it starts a new life.
That large rock tunnel you rode down looked pretty solid...
my first brand new bike in 1975 -$1600nz. Shit suspension but good fun.

Grs Dios tiempos Maravillosos
What oil do you run in it? I am looking at one for sale and would love to know thank you

Yeah ! This model is G5 big brother.
Klasse mach ich auch so. Gruß Stefan
What did it cost them to make the rear fender cool looking? Same as if they made it dorky.
