I don't agree with everything this guy says with regard to security and qualification for salvation. However he effectively gets the point across that there needs to be a huge awakening in our value systems with regard to Christ, and with regard to serving Him. Our lives in America are largely given for the purpose of commodities, and serving Christ is viewed more as an "above and beyond the call" type of thing - praise-worthy but not necessary.

The ruins of Israel will be rebuilt- Amos 9:11,13. Ezekiel prophecied prosperity for modern day Israel- Ezekiel 36:11. Egypt would never again rule over other nations- Ezekiel 29:15.
You can create whatever value/dignity you want. The world is what you make of it. You must create your own purpose however difficult/tedious that may be. So if you believe life is purposeless without a god, I think you simply lack faith in humanity. If I had faith in anything, it would be in other humans. We developed the concept of person hood fyi, so again, it's whatever we want it to be. These things morph all the time.
Who's to say that the laws of physics were not different back then. We may know nothing with absolute certainty, but our current science is as close as it gets. Science tells us that our universe began as a quantum singularity. Who's to say that that singularity isn't simply a previously collapsed universe. Can you grasp the concept of infinite? Have you ever thought that perhaps the universe is infinite?
No man knows the time when Jesus will come again, only God knows, i agree i dont believe in these doomsday predictions either. BUT all the predictions and bible prophecies have been fulfilled. I have proof, be ignorant or face it. What i can tell you is that the end is not too far away. God Bless
