- This is the second time Blue has been ridden since last October, we just got him out and was playing around on him.He is stand ing at stud for $250. His first batch of colts should be on the ground starting late this spring.
I have never seen a speed racking horse going like this one. Perfect shape, perfect balance, perfect rythm, didn't put a foot wrong even once in that video. Unreal. Maybe not everyone can see the difference- but i have watched a lot of 4- and 5- gaited horses in my life, and this one is very close to perfection for me.
The way he uses his head and neckmuscles to pick up speed in total control of his body is amazing. And he really looks like he has 8 legs.
WOW. I'm speechless. He is GORGEOUS. I love his coloring, and 30 mph and it dont look like he's even working hard doing it. Your lucky. I'm jealous. What a beautiful boy.
WOW! That horse is absolutely gorgeous! Stunning color!
I call this up just when I need a pick me up. I love to watch this stallion move. It also revealed some thing to me about the mythic Norse horse Sleipnir, Odin's mount, who was supposed to be 8 legged and the fastest of all horses. Icelandic horses rack (tolt) also. When Big Blue went to 30 mph his legs blur and it looks like he has 8 legs.
I'm only a novice and have been learning about conformation and gait. To me this horse has great leg extension, and I love the lift on his front legs. All this plus he is sooo smooth! I know you have to have something good to start with, but I would love to learn how to bring this out in a horse. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful coloring, and such a smooth gait!
@doublejfarmsky His father was a harness pony from Indiana and mother was a tatooed broadway express mare.
What a gorgeous boy! Wish I could afford a horse! Good luck with him, and all the best to you :)
Very wonderful horse!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Makes me wanna trailer my girl up there for a romp in the hay with him so she can throw me something that I can ride when she is retired to pasture. She & her other babies that she's thrown have the BEST temperament & I'd like to pass that on to any future horse of mine along with your stud's awesome gait!!! The very 1st day we rode all of them, there was NO bucking or fighting @ all! Good genes & good treatment = great horses & pretty gaits! That was in La., I'm in MT now.
@PredatorHuntress666 In summertime he is a blue roan, in spring and fall he is purple looking, and in winter he turns a dark gray and several shades of colors in between. His color really does change with the seasons.
Now that a Speed Racking Horse....Great job Rusty
Oh he's gorgeous!
Omg...that looks like so much fun! lol I soo want to ride a Racking Horse. I've ridden and showed (briefly) TWHs but I've only been able to see Rackers in action at shows. Seriously want to ride one! lol
His gait is so clean! poc-a poc-a poc-a poc-a
OMG that's the most amazing colouring on a standie that I've ever seen!!! :O
@KjunMermaid Southeast Kentucky. He is not a TWH, he is standardbred.
nice horse! awesome speed and color!
He's gorgeous, and what a mover! I love my Standie, she's an old diagonal though, they say she was a fast girl, but I have never used her for that purpose. The intense trotting on the concrete in her past homes has caused her arthritis in her hocks now. They also raced her around one of her foaling date and she lost the foal a day later. Hope you treat your Standies better than those who had my girl before, they are amazing horses. :) He looks very well. :)
He is amazing!!!!!!!
that is the most amazing horse i have ever seen, period. i love his coloring, his breed, everything! i wonder (knowing that his breed was made to trot) does he gallop as fast as he trots? how did they manage to breed a horse that can trot faster, or as fast as a gallop! standardbreds are not standerd at all.
has he won any titles? has he sired any foals? did you breed him yourself and raise him/train him? can he harness race?
that a good one there!! total package!
Amazingly beautiful!!!!
Beautiful !!! This is my first time seeing a blue roan standardbred. I have a blue roan TWH.....your boy is FAST !!!! He rocks !!! Will he walk slow and easy on a loose rei as well ?
my god hes beautiful!!!! id kill to own an awsome ride like that :p
@tinabeasley1 We have no colts for sale right now, he is 60 and a half inches.
Beautiful horse! Awesome Gait. I'm assuming, and I've seen a ton of folks' videos like this, that the reason they are filmed on pavement(which is just plain awful for their feet, joints and overall soundness) is that there is just no place available to open up these horses so you can see their truly amazing speed? (that and to have a "taxi" to clock how fast you're going)
I really really want one of these horses, but need a better place to keep one first.
@nreedhodges He has only one colton the ground so far, roan filly out of a chestnut mare. We charge $250 stud fee.
Very interesting, thanks for the comment!
Nice horse and man you got nerves of steel to go that fast on pavement, beautiful horse you have !!!! How is he bred?
I love yalls horse. Have yall had any babies hit the ground yet? If so does he throw any roan? I have a bay roan raking mare that were looking to breed next year. How much is the stud fee?
@boo5352 he's 60 and a half inches
Looks good! Very nice horse!!! (=
Wow.. Very nice!!!
Looking good.
Gorgeous' Horse And How Old Is He ?
@mySYNZnotmytradgidy The answer to what color he is depends on what time of year you are asking. He changes color with the seasons, the best answer i can give is he is a double roan spotted.
What kind of horse? He walks like my paso fino
he's a beast. how tall is he?
wow!
@22069504 He is not registered.Never took time to get any paperwork on him.
