everyone understands that wiping is apart of the game but that doesnt mean people with good builds/new players with a good progressed build would want to get wiped
I no longer play deepwoken bc It became an waste of time for me, but seeing the devs making it even better for depth gankers makes me even more distant from coming back at this point I just donate legendary weapons for my friends because I have too many and I dont think I will be coming back

The thing with a lot of PvE builds is that a lot are focused around diluv/hellmode. In these cases ready or not is a waste of a talent to get. Turtle shell is already in PvE meta anyways so atleast there’s that.
Pro tip: If you don't have your background music blasting at 150% volume, you might also hear that loud **s mobility mantra pulling up from behind and react accordingly. Edit: What I mean't with that was pulling up with stuff like shoulder bash or metal ball can't be sneaky on someone with decent working ears.
There should be some kinda quest talent that lets you void at any amount of health that only PVE builds could have access to. It could either be obtained by fightu g a very strong boss or maybe even wave 50 of deluvian, anything that would be impossible to beat without a PVE build.
The only way to balance this is identify what builds are PvE. So if the build has brick wall and not an assortment of stats, or maybe if the current character has not gripped any player, it can be tagged as a PvE. The moment the slot grips or kills a player it is tagged PvP. Just ideas to balance it.
It doesn’t even matter tho. Builds just do too much damage. Even if your the goat at pvp if you get backstabbed and there’s 4 people on you it’s cookies for them.
I recently just got depths ganked by some random guild and i got knocked and i was sure i was going to end up wiping but when i got gripped instead of being sent to fragments like always i was sent to layer 2 instead does anyone know why?

Another tip is to go up the elevator and parry attacks once up their it’s a no PvP zone so just heal up and wait 10m or kill the trial to log
