- This video, is not a video for everyone. We do the unthinkable and cut the Sebering Kit-car into bite-sized pieces. But in order for the car to live on in some way, shape or form, we thought this was the best way forward. Without a title, a vin, the likelihood of it seeing the road was slim-to-none . We did what we did out of love!

Lol. That was sad, funny and understandable, but sad. The really funny part will be when Dan gets a wild hair next month and puts it all back together so he can build the car.

I feel the same way anymore. I'd rather scrap stuff then deal with selling it,
I tried to sell a cafe style table with 2 chairs. This woman texted and texted and told me it would be perfect for her son who was starting college and would be living in an apartment. She told me she drove a convertible. So out of the goodness of my heart, I washed the table and removed the pedestal so it would fit in her car and not get it dirty. At the last minute she wanted to meet somewhere besides my house! When I told her that I had cleaned it for her and she could come to my house and pick it up, she went silent on me. I was selling it for $40 and it was in real good shape! I ended up raising the price to $50 and sold it to someone else. People can be awful, even when you are virtually GIVING something away!!!!!

As a commission salesman for 42 years I understand your frustration with people and selling.
Dan I loved the video I have done that b4 just got tired of people trying to get something for free so I finally filled it full of scrap motors and other scrap parts and took to the scrap yard and I never regretted it one time.
You know we love you guys and your channel when we sit though videos of nothing but you cleaning up lol That's the signs of success, I think?

I blame crappy car shows that ppl watched in the early 2000’s that lowballed fake sellers and did unrealistic builds and lied about the cost’s. It’s given ppl unrealistic expectations in the car community.
Early 2000s? That's still the norm for, I wont say a lot but, a fair amount of RUclipsrs and their "budget builds"

Love what you do guys. Get a landscaper if your selling that place. Simple simple landscape. Would make a heck of a difference in offers. 😉
When they ask all the questions and then cut the price in half just comeback with “sorry I can’t go any lower than $ 5,000”.lol
You never realize how much junk you accumulate over time until you have to move it all! If you are rearranging stuff with the intent of staging the property for sale, you have a long way to go, lucky thing you are young and have lots of energy. :>)
My wife's, friend's husband has a man cave and on the wall he has the front grill, headlight assembly of a second gen Camaro. There is no bumper because those cars look sweet without it. The headlights and turn signals do actually work.
The cars you have listed for sale are well worth every penny you ask for them! Some may be worth a little more than what you listed them for, no one should be low balling you on the price you've listed!
Both cars will make awesome wall art for the new shop and then one day you'll take one down and build it.
Was painful to watch you chop up that Austin but, absolutely understand the why you did it and agree 💯! People just love to take Advantage of another!

I agree with you about dealing with the marketplace clowns. I have a lot of automotive stuff that I won't be needing and dread the thought of dealing with a million questions. I was selling a sandblast cabinet and when they showed up, they tried to knock the price down again.

Facebook where I am is rampant with all the 'quick flippers' keen to lowball the hell out of something and then try to resell for 10x as much. Sucks for anyone trying to do a legit budget build, and pretty much makes older cars unobtainium to the new kids coming through the car scene.
Also, when you do finally move, please keep tally of how many random lost-and-found hammers you find scattered around the property!

A fibreglass AH 100 is only viable at all because originals are £20,000,000,000 for some reason. I remember seeing them in scrapyards in the early 80s

I have mostly always agreed with your decisions and always respected them. But selling the Bobcat is one decision I cannot understand. But I do understand upgrading only wait to sell after the upgrade. Just a thought.
Kind of a shame to have to cut the car up but I get it. Now that Shelby Daytona coupe body idea is really something. That would be an awesome car and has some big value when done. Not like this one would be when done. Daytona coupes are super cool cars. Please do that with this one day. I will for sure watch them. Thanks for the great content.

Dan 2007 to 2012 New Holland C185 or C195 compact track loader (tracked skid steer) is your next buy. Bought a 2010 brand new, still have it even though I have a fleet of 6 track loaders. Will never sell, it's like a bulldozer. I constantly move my project vehicles and non running fleet tandems, 3 tons and semis with it, no problem. I had sent you a link years ago in Facebook of a skid steer tow truck attachment I fabricated for myself. You think your tow truck picker is slick, try it on your skid steer. Makes short and easy work of car Tetris!

I sure miss the days of the local "Recycler" newspaper coming out every Thursday morning! The early bird could really get the worm on Thursdays if you had cash in hand and hit the road with the trailer the minute you saw the ad! Marketplace is the bane of hot rodding today! You need the parts but, they are hard to find or listed at a million dollars to buy! As a seller, I'd rather chew on glass than have to deal with these lowballers that grow like weeds and waste your time! I try to list at over asking prices so that when they throw the low offers, it's closer to what I really wanted for the stuff. It takes a lot of time and patience but, I think your actions today were very therapeutic! I think the front end will make an excellent man cave wall hangar! Keep up the great work to you both!
