Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad - Cascade Canyon Express - June 27, 2024

Our trip was originally booked as a Durango-Silverton trip and back, but a rockslide days prior closed the line to Silverton. Instead we were changed to a Cascade Canyon Express trip. Part of the way through our trip back, #480 experience mechanical issues and had to be swapped for a diesel.
All in all, it was a great trip and we plan to go back at some point when we can do the entire trip.
