Out of all the presentations that I've seen about the Henry Ford Museum, yours is by far the most educational. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for both the educational aspects, and the visual representation. I have subscribed and saved your video to my Henry Ford Museum saved favorites. Thank you for taking the time to actually delve into the history behind these subjects, instead of just shooting a video of everything you've seen during the visit. I plan to share this on my social media as well. You deserve the recognition for your work both far and wide. Thank you again for such an outstanding and educational experience, as I plan to visit this area in the future and I will have your knowledge to help guide me along my way.

great work, great production. when in the museum, you were looking at the stationary steam engines. as opposed to a locomotive engine, marine or traction engines. again, great video, keep up good work !
Thanks for a very good tour and narration of Henry Ford. Only 310 views which is surprising given the quality of your production, though the title (tour with mom and bro) doesn't hint at the quality of your effort and almost made me bypass it too.
Thanks for the info of all the steam Engines name and what they do I never knew what that big steam engine was used for in the round house. good video by the way
how long does it take to see the museum? greenfield village? we were coming for the weekend...my husband is a mechanic, history buff...I was thinking Rogue ford factory day we arrive from airport...next day greenfield village -can we see it all take rides in /carriage, model t, train 9:30-1:00 can we see it all? then 1:15 -5 can we see the whole museum? or maybe the following day ..day we fly out we can try to do 9:30-1pm that's 3.5 hrs at museum is that enough time??? thanks
Well I'm going to say is this. You'll need at least 2 days. One day to see the museum and one day to see the Greenfield Village. Especially just a day for the museum itself cuz there's so many things in there that even I didn't get to see. I hope this helps you and I hope you have a good time seeing the Henry Ford Museum.
That's what I'd call a hybrid which is what I call a combination steam gas engine it will be the equivalent of a gas-electric hybrid car today but back then it was gas Steam Hybrid lol
He might have Asperger's syndrome , with trains as his narrow field of interest . I can say this without malice , as I myself am also on the autistic spectrum .

My dad loved this place. I went with him in 1979
This place is the only reason I'd go back to Michigan for a visit. It's changed a lot, since I lived there and first saw it in about 1957.
Seth Tyrssen You should check out sleeping bear dunes. It’s the Midwest’s Grand Canyon.
A very nice tour!
Awesome video man
I have had a season pass for the past 5 years The Henry Ford goes above and beyond my expectations every event they do.

History
I know where I'm heading for a road trip!
Last summer my family went to greenfield village and we saw saw 1 Amtrak train and 1 NS train about 1 hour apart.

You should check out the Crossroads village & Huckleberry Railroad
Robert Lucido A terrific place to visit.
Agreed.
Is the old river paddle wheel boat there? I remember it as a kid in 1953.
The paddle wheel steam boat is long gone , rust issues put it out of service.
Well Greenfield Village is not too far where I live

Where the engineers paid by the pound or by the ton?
I believe it was by the pound.
I highly doubt that a C&O Allegheny had a greater tractive effort than an N&W Y6b.
Bro why are you showcasing a Dinner
Dudes got a strange infatuation with trains.... Very weird!!

our family went to the museum and you forgot about the eagle tavern
Sorry I forgot about the Eagle Tavern. We didn't get the chances to go in. Also I don't know if my brother would had been allowed to go in with us.
Ohio Pacific 4446 that small steam engine in the station used to be on display at the museum
