I think one of the reasons they made Stadium Alpha a night map (besides to seperate it from Bravo) is to kind of test how a night map would play in modern siege

@@Slaquery27 What are they testing about it? Besides favela there were night maps for years in the game playable even in ranked. They just want to sell us nostalgia of things they took from us, also the original version of this map was always night time.

I was so confused hoping into this map it's completely different then in 2020
removing windows isn't enough to save this map. they need to add an entire connecting area between the two extremities of the map, otherwise it is way to easy to gain map control and steamroll the defenders.
a slight map buff may be enough for bravo but not for alpha.
I simply love night maps on Siege. Stadium Alpha is one of them.
What maps are mixed in Alpha again? Oregon bunks was a room right?
I miss the interior glass wall you could play around.

I absolutely love the lighting. They need to bring back night maps.
That drone hole from roof into bunks' rat spot better still be there. Scored so many free kills from gantry spawn.
Also, red window used to only be a walkway between hatch tower and above garage. Glad to see there is more of an outside balcony.
And there's a window on kids that if you bounced a nade there it would bounce into alt site and disrupt anyone pushing there.
This was before the grenade changes, so it'll be interesting to see how that translates.

Fun fact: This is the second version of the first Stadium map. At 4:03, Target corridor did not exist.

Imo one of the best maps in siege. I loved playing it. Much better than bravo.
What’s the point of these complex over complicated maps that are a mix of two three maps. Just let us play og maps or introduce new better maps.

This version was more fun and it looks a lot better than bravo
This map and all the reworks are just bland and boring. Every room nowadays is just increased in size to some "standard" size and everything could just as easily be replaced by non-art-directioned grey boxes. The old maps had identity, they were interesting in how rooms were big and small and varied. They have slowly chopped away the interesting parts of this game over the years. Interesting stuff have flaws, there were flaws and they were interesting. It's only boring and uninteresting people who like standardized identity-lacking stuff that are just copies of copies. The game went from a fine wine to some artificial tasting energy drink made by some obscure company with bad moral rep in marketing. Ugh...
Incompetency continuing to pour resources into Frankenstein maps that can’t be fixed. There’s no nostalgia on these maps, they are lifeless! If I wanted to play border or coastline I’d much rather just play the OG!
I feel this a lil bit. I honestly think the Stadium maps would be a bit better if there was an actual crowd. They would get excited for close matches and cheer during an ace or something. It wouldn’t fix the fundamental map issues and I doubt the extra noice can be implemented in a balanced manner but I think it would be a step in the right direction. Just a thought though.
It kinda seems like people complain no matter what, if the "okay" maps get changed people complain about how they liked the old one and if they change a bad map people complain it was unnecessary.

@@dvrling3611I get it. My main issue is they just muddied the map pool even more. I play mainly casual and some standard. Well I can go an hour without seeing a good map. Last night for example the first 2 hours I got 2 good maps and like 8 bad ones. I’m so tired of quitting out of bad maps. Every night it seems like I queue into 3 favela games. And here comes stadium alpha making it even harder to find a good map. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a lot of standard with that new “ranked” pool next season.
How? This night setting with that particular stadium is were the teams first held a tournament.
If you don’t like it then next season you can decide which type of maps you want to play.
No one cares about stadium, why do they keep wasting time and resources on thos stupid map?
They probably thought of adding something else to compensate for this dry, soulless season. Why not revamp the map which is based on copy-pasting the layout of other maps and changing the decals a bit? Its a really easy way to say they did more stuff without putting too much effort
