I have 2 Gay Dads, They adopted me because my parents we’re abusive. Both of them are just some chill guys raising me and making bank from their profession. Their Homosexuality didn’t made me gay, their advise didn’t made me gay and I have my own career as a digital artist. I was lucky to be adopted, so what’s your excuse of banning same-sex marriage?

@C.S Braga It's not about you disrespecting me. I didn't feel any disrespect from you. It's just the stigma around LGBT people in general. In India the major religion Hinduism, it's neither condemns nor promotes homosexual behavior. we have Tritiyaprakriti(Third gender) in our culture. But we indian adopted the homophobic culture of our British colonizers. So yes we are fighting our rights. Let the darkness of the ignorance be removed by the light of wisdom and acceptance. Let there be peace. Om Shanti.

I don't see why same sex marriage is wrong in anyway. Why should the government be concerned with who we choose to spend our lives with, share our responsibilities with? Going beyond homosexuality, an individual has every right to choose their spouse no matter what sex they belong to. If a girl wants to marry a girl and they are not sexually attracted or anything, but they trust each other enough to share the worldly responsibilities with each other then why should they be bothered? Aren't most of the arranged marriages based on the same concept?

    • @Anushuu

Say what you will Indians see marriage only to poop out babies. There is no love my parents had unhealthy abusive relationship I questioned a lot to others Why marriage? They say cuz it's the way to live in society. Yeah so we can't live as single because it's seen as sin or abnormality Like literally 40% of ppl who married in my town pooped a baby out within 2 months marrying and got pregnant fast without knowing each other or having a communication or taking child planning. Isn't this sin too? Doing the thing just to make babies? What about those woman (men aren't bashed for being unmarried) who want to give her career development or to live a childfree life but with a partner? Aren't this all a selfish ancestral games?
I hate marriage cuz of this reason it's just a way to buy a man or woman to make babies and live a miserable life forced by society
Asked a woman if she said no to babies and she was harassed or threatened by her husband's mother to give her good news or else they will drop her to Maika. And this is disgusting shows he didn't marry a human but a woman to make babies. Why don't you just do adoption? Do men understand that a woman endure 9 months of shit and pain and losing her beauty just for a baby? Men just inject sperm. They don't have to face bumps Caesarean operations or those horrible weight gain excessive hair loss or pain ?

Reason why people opposing same sex marriage
      1. It doesn't leads to procreation. For marriage indian society checked everything family background, caste, religion, culture, language, kundali. Why should invest time such thing that has no future.
      2. Strict gender roles. You need know how to earn and your partner(woman) take care of home and family. So you could achieve your 100% goals.
      3. Lack of education. People will fear something that they don't know. They will hate that they fear. They will try to destroy that they hate.
      4. Comparing gays to sexual predators.
      5. In normal conversation someone's personal love(sex) life is never a topic of interest. But if that person is homo then conversation only centered to their life.
      6. People have hard time differentiating homosexuality and transgenderism.

    • @rosec_rose6661
      @rosec_rose6661 Год назад +8

@@russtytan8080 the points 1 and 2 are so correct but without these we can live too
Now both genders work, woman now are career oriented and now you can keep a maid or servant for housework or clean your house 3 times a week instead. No work is bad if it benefits your house Men need to know that cleaning washing dress and cooking are no longer a woman's job both should know how to do it.
Secondly adoption exists! Why you wanna make a country suffer when overpopulation is the reason of inflation. And why pain of motherhood that is a compulsion and not a choice
And we don't need children to be our life goals there is more to children and marriage a life can offer!
Lack of education Can only be erased if we start being a little Frank and let an experimental trial be run to see if it's harmful or beneficial for society.
Predators are men or women too we need to be concerned about pedophiliacs instead of assiging a gender or lgbt to it. Babies are getting raped these days which should be the focal point
And last not in our culture is a pure BS point! Indian culture don't have rape and abuse yet we see ppl commiting those crimes! We had sati Partha that was a wrong culture for widow but we the ppl changed it! It takes ppl to bring changes who are these 4 ppl to decide what we should do and what we shouldn't (minus criminals acts) we got a Brain and mind too and a society needs to accept individualism no society should be collection society.

And marriage is not just about physical intimacy and having kids, it's more about choosing a better life partner for oneself. It's strange how people nowadays associate homosexuality just with physical intimacy and nothing more.

Coz uske pehle hamara bharat hamre Rishi muni sab jante the even everything was normal but thee Britishers came and banned these things......
For example you can see khajuraho temple having the same sex types sculptures even our shastras also says that what seems Unnatural is also natural u know "vikruti evam prakruti".....
Or we can also take examples from our religious text like Mahabharat as Arjun being eunuch and of shikhandi....
Telling you the most recent example of a artist from Bengal school of art namely
"Bhupen khakar" he was an open gay of his time..ys you can search it on Google.....
And the ultimate reason of marriage is not to have a baby (the fruitful consequence) or the marriage should be between biological male and female.....
And at last who are we to take decisions of their life....

    (1) Sexuality and gender identity are biological, not choices, just like gender and race. No one chooses to be homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, or asexual; people are born that way. No one chooses to be cisgender or transgender; people are born that way. It is injustice to discriminate on the basis of any thing that is biological and not a choice.
    (2) Normal or abnormal? It is for medical experts who have done research on homosexuality and transgenderism to decide whether these are normal or abnormal. And medical experts say that these are normal. Not disorders. (Even if a biological condition is a disorder or disease, it does not make sense to give hatred or discrimination to some one living with it. On the contrary, people who have disorders deserve extra help from government and society, because they are living with greater struggles, and it is not their fault.)
    (3) Homosexuality and transgenderism are not "western imports" or "against Indian culture" or "urban elitist concepts". LGBTQIA people have existed in both rural and urban India for thousands of years.
    (4) Homosexuality and transgenderism are not "unnatural" or "artificial". These are found in thousands of animal species all over world. These are natural and biological things.
    (5) LGBTQIA people are not a "miniscule minority" like only 1 % of the population. They may comprise a significant part of the human population, e.g. around 10 % or even 30 %. Most LGBTQIA people are afraid to reveal their reality because of the stigma, discrimination, hatred, etc., so they hide and pretend to be some one they are not, which causes distress and prevents them from reaching their full potential.
    (6) Your own family member or friend could be in the LGBTQIA community.

I have absolutely no problem with it, and neither should anyone. As it's a basic human right. Our Indic civilization has embraced Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans and Intersexual people throughout history. But milord saying there is no concept of "biological male and female" is just pain stupidity. As assuming or making a statement like that affects the women of this nation. The years of struggle women have gone through to fight for their right gets taken away. How? because a trans woman who is biologically a man decided one day that he identifies as a woman and can participate in women sports while having the biological advantage of a biological male. Understand this guy and don't just sit idle and be like "supreme court's decision is absolute and nothing can change that" while the milord makes dumb statements like that. He should be questioned and criticized. If the very judges of supreme court have this idea of science, then we are doomed.

@@anindyabiswas7616 @Anindya Biswas When i say indic civilization it does not mean the government. It mainly means our hindu Sanatan dharma and its culture. And as for the state they never promoted it because we were colonized by britishers who saw homosexuality as a crime (due to their own religious beliefs). Because of them we had Section 377 or else that wouldn't have been the case. "Indic civilization had never embraced homosexual marriage" how do you assume this? do you have any data to back your assumption that we never embraced it?
      Let me prove you wrong.
      Homosexuality in ancient India:
      1. In the temples of Khajuraho, there are images of women erotically embracing other women and men displaying their genitals to each other. Scholars have generally explained this as an acknowledgement that people engaged in homosexual acts.
      2. In the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Rama's devotee and companion Hanuman is said to have seen Rakshasa women kissing and embracing other women.
      3. At another place, the Ramayana tells the tale of a king named Dilip, who had two wives. He died without leaving an heir. The story says that Lord Shiva appeared in the dreams of the widowed queens and told them that if they made love to each other, they would have a child. The queens did as ordained by Lord Shiva and one of them got pregnant. They gave birth to a child, who went on to become famous king Bhagirath, best known for "having brought River Ganga from heaven to the earth".
      4. The Mahabharata has an interesting story about Shikhandini, the feminine or transgender warrior of the time and responsible for the defeat and killing of Bhishma. Shikhandini was a daughter of King Drupada, who raised her as a prince to take revenge from the Kurus, the rulers of Hastinapur. Drupada even got Shikhandini married to a woman. After her wife discovered the reality, she revolted. The day was saved by divine intervention bestowing Shikhandini with manhood during night. Shikhandini henceforth lived like a hermaphrodite.
      5. During the great churning of milky ocean, according to Mastya Purana, Lord Vishnu took the form of a beautiful woman, Mohini to trick the demons so that the gods could drink all the amrut (the immortal juice found from churning of ocean). Meanwhile, Lord Shiva saw Vishnu as Mohini and instantly fell for him. Their union led to the birth of a child -- Lord Ayyappa.
      6. Another scripture, the Narada Purana has references to what may be classified as "unnatural offences" described in Section 377. At one place, the Narada Purana states, anyone who discharges semen in non-vaginas, in those beings destitute of vulva, and uteruses of animals is a great sinner and will fall in hell. The purana does not approve of "unnatural offences" but the references prove that they were in practice.
      7. The famous law code, Manusmriti provides for punishment to homosexual men and women. Manusmriti says that if a girl has sex with another girl, she is liable for a fine of two hundred coins and ten whiplashes. But if lesbian sex is performed by a mature woman on a girl, her head should be shaved or two of her fingers cut off as punishment. The woman should also be made to ride on a donkey.
      8. In the case of homosexual males, Manusmriti says that sexual union between with two men brings loss of caste. If a man has sex with non-human females or with another man or indulges in anal or oral sex with women he is liable for punishment as per the "Painful Heating Vow".
      9. The ninth chapter of the Kamasutra of Vatsyayana -- composed in around 4th century BC, talks about oral sexual acts (Auparistaka), homosexuality and also of similar activities among transgenders (tritiya prakriti). The book, however, does not favour homosexuality of any kind.
      10. Arthashastra of Kautilya -- a treatise on politics -- also mentions homosexuality. But the book makes it a duty of the king to punish those indulging in homosexuality and expects the ruler to fight against the "social evil".
My brother don't be fooled by the media and the anti-hindu/anti-india bigots. Do your own research get into the ancient roots and you will find things you'll be proud of. You'll be proud of the fact you are part of this beautiful sanatan dharma and indic civilization.

I am not against LGBTQ, but there is a reason why same sex marriage is not a good idea based on abstract and psychological standpoint, that is why domestic violence is highest among the same sex marriage, and they break up pretty fast and also one of the big reason why it is an unfavorable environment for a child to grow up in .
People are casually saying that why care if they can't procreate, when the whole idea of marriage is about having a child and nurturing it, otherwise it would be same as a simple gf- bf relation. But having a child bears a responsibility, gives an understanding that there is now a being which is far more important than the couple involved. and TBH the list can go on and on about why intrinsically the idea of same sex marriage is flawed.

You said "when the whole idea of marriage is about having a child and nurturing it".
So then would you deny marriage to a young straight couple who don't plan to have kids? What if one or both is infertile? What about older couples who are beyond child-bearing years?
By the way...who decided that marriage is about having kids?

@@pacnwguy9056 I Still believe marriage is about having a kid.
Now first part "young couple who are planning to not have kids" - well simple they should have kid, otherwise what is the point of having marriage, I would call it a failed marriage attempt, just like you fail a course, continuation of life has been the fundamental law of the nature, if you don't plan to have kids don't marry, just remain the same gf-bf. Having a legacy of your own has been human nature and everyone should have it. There is a reason why you have reproductive organs. It is not just for sex. Not planning to have kids is running from responsibility, and the world you live in is created by people who are brave enough to bear responsibility.
Second part "if they are infertile", well it is unfortunate, naturally speaking, that wasn't supposed to happen. They can go for adoption to make their marriage fruitful, or ask their relatives to give them an offspring if they want the family blood, people do it all the time and secondly these are among outliers, and when making generalized decision we generally ignore the outliers.
Third part if they are old, well again similar to 1st part, they should've had children when they had the chance, as in all likelihood we are going to live almost 100 years and generally people as they get older tend to become more emotional and in such times having their kids around keeps them warm. In all marriage is actually about having kids the society these days are so blinded by these radical left ideologies , that they forget the natural law of nature. Why is so hard to understand, you have the ability to reproduce, you know life continuation is critical, so why even question that ?

@@avinashpant9860 I think you're trying too hard to dictate when and under what circumstances other people marry. Have you ever thought about just concerning yourself with your own life, letting others handle theirs and just mind your own business? Whether or not others have children really isn't any of your affair. Perhaps you should behave accordingly.
Unless you want other people telling you what to do, then don't tell them what to do. This isn't rocket science.

For those saying homosexuality is a “Western concept” 😂
At the Lakshmana temple in Khajuraho (954 CE), a man receives fellatio from a seated male as part of an orgiastic scene.
A number of Hindu texts have portrayed homosexual experience as natural and joyful,[1] the Kamasutra affirms and recognises same-sex relations,[2] and there are several Hindu temples which have carvings that depict both men and women engaging in homosexual acts.[3] The Vedas do not restrict homosexuality and there are numerous Hindu deities that are shown to be gender-fluid and falling into the LGBT spectrum.[4][5] Same-sex relations and gender variance have been represented within Hinduism from the Vedic times through to the present day, in rituals, law books, religious or narrative mythologies, commentaries, paintings, and even sculptures.
Psychoanalyst Sudhir Kakar writes that Hindus are more accepting of "deviance or eccentricity" that are adherents of Western religions, who typically treat sexual variance as "anti-social or psychopathological, requiring 'correction' or 'cure'".
Hindus commonly identify with and worship the various Hindu deities connected with gender diversity such as Ardhanarisvara (the androgynous form of Shiva and his consort Parvati), Aravan (a hero whom the god Krishna married after becoming a woman), Harihara (an incarnation of Shiva and Vishnu combined), Bahuchara Mata (a goddess connected with transsexuality and eunuchism), Gadadhara (an incarnation of Radha in male form), Chandi-Chamunda (twin warrior goddesses), Bhagavati-devi (a Hindu goddess associated with cross-dressing), Gangamma (a goddess connected with cross-dressing and disguises) and the goddess Yellamma.
