I've been meaning to watch this as soon as it hit Netflix but right before I started, I found that the X-men animated series was on Disney+. I've been on that for a couple weeks. Looks like I made a bad choice. Lucifer's immediate charisma from this episode made me realize that sometimes going back for nostalgic purposes isn't always a good idea.
The first three parts of this crossover was like Infinity War. Ending on a dark cliffhanger and having us to wait for the next two. We are truly in the endgame now.

Killing Henry Allen after he just met Tina McGee made me mad as it was a great nod to the 90s show. This ending for 90s Flash and learning he married his Tina makes up for it. Thank you, John Wesley Shipp for being a fantastic Flash!

It's more like just Endgame with an Infinity war mid ending. Infinity war had more action early on. While we probably get more action scenes in the last two episodes.
I think everyone was jazzed about that bit, especially due to how Tom Ellis mislead everyone into thinking he wasn't going to be a part of the crossover and was just visiting a friend on the set.
I did that too and it made the viewing experience a lot better(only things I knew were black lightning and Brandon routh Superman). I also don’t really like to watch a lot of movie trailers these days because there’s either way too much in their or way to much cut out of the actual movie, so I just watch the first one and wait for the movie

Oof, Black Lightning's episode also tied into the crossover. It was like a part 2.5, leading up to his Earth getting destroyed. We saw his Earth 1 and 2 counterparts get straight murdered

Well it confirmed Earth One & Earth Two has a Freeland & had a Black Lightning, just not an active one anymore. Which explains Deathbolt, the Meta from Arrow that wasn’t from the particle accelerator explosion. Kinda relevant to the verse as a whole but not hugely relevant to the crisis plot.
I literally just said that to my gf. It’s Lucifers last season too. He could just show up to talk with his kind of temporary brother now since the Spirit of Vengeance is technically an angel seeking redemption for following Luci in the rebellion. It’d be awesome.
It's got a lot of episodes, though. I think it was what, 3 seasons of 20 followed by 1 of 10? And the third season drags really hard because of that 20 episode count.

Eric has had this expression of pure joy throughout this entire crossover and it's so fun to see! Not to say Melanie or Aaron's reactions haven't been wonderful, but it's just stayed on Eric's face through the whole reaction, discussion, and everything. Pure glee!

I read the 12 issues of Crisis in preparation for this crossover. I cannot believe what they've done! I'm in complete shock and awe so far. I have no idea what to expect. It's all so different but in the best possible way! Once these episodes hit Netflix, I'm watching this crossover on repeat for a month! And it's not even close to over yet! This show has me feeling like Chidi from The Good Place. My stomach is going to be in nots for a long time.

Ryan Choi is a part of Injustice as the Atom. He was also namedropped in Season 5 and was said to be the person who made Flash's suit that fit in the ring.
Spectre is an omni potent being that symbolizes eternity. He is featured mainly in the green lantern series. In the comics oliver queen does become the spectre but I forgot which addition. Superman lifted spectre off the ground and he literally is the embodiment of eternity.

I was most hyped for Brandon Routh because he’s Christopher Reeves Superman, his Superman, and Kingdom come Superman all in one. There’s so much history, nostalgia, and awesomeness there.

This is the first episode where the story itself felt coherent IMO, best so far in that sense. The Lucifer cameo was great fun, loved the playful nod to the pronunciation of "Constantine" (every screen incarnation has pronounced it incorrectly and Lucifer's first attempt is correct - canonically, as John says himself in the Hellblazer comic, it's "...T-I-N-E. Rhymes with 'fine'"). Also loved Superman-38 as the anti-matter wave is engulfing them, giving Iris a stoic little nod, almost of reassurance - just like his "Kingdom Come" counterpart even in the darkness, he _still_ has hope, still believes the good guys have got this. That's Superman right there.
At 7:01 when Lucifer meets Mia I thought it was kinda funny because the person who plays Mia played clary Morganstern whitch means morning star witch refers to Lucifer 😂😂
Oliver is Spectre. Plot twist: He is the 8th Paragon. The Paragon of Spirit. The Spirit of Heroes who inspires heroes to do good. Think about it. Without Oliver, we wouldn't have the Arrowverse so it makes sense.

@@hanirko00 Why would half of them snap. They don't know Lex. Only ones who can potentially snap are Kara and Kate. It makes no sense for Sara, Barry or Ryan too snap. Martian Manhunter isn't gonna snap either, since he is the Paragon of Honor.

Eric has had this expression of pure joy throughout this entire crossover and it's so fun to see! Not to say Melanie or Aaron's reactions haven't been wonderful, but it's just stayed on Eric's face through the whole reaction, discussion, and everything. Pure glee!
Unexpected twist with Luthor writing himself as a Paragon saving his own skin, but maybe that’s Luthors purpose, gonna miss Kingdom come Superman though.

I read the 12 issues of Crisis in preparation for this crossover. I cannot believe what they've done! I'm in complete shock and awe so far. I have no idea what to expect. It's all so different but in the best possible way! Once these episodes hit Netflix, I'm watching this crossover on repeat for a month! And it's not even close to over yet! This show has me feeling like Chidi from The Good Place. My stomach is going to be in nots for a long time.

Ryan Choi is the successor of Ray Palmer as the Atom (in the comics, at least). He was name-dropped during the Flash Season 5 premiere. He made that Flash ring S5 suit.

Spectre is an omni potent being that symbolizes eternity. He is featured mainly in the green lantern series. In the comics oliver queen does become the spectre but I forgot which addition. Superman lifted spectre off the ground and he literally is the embodiment of eternity.

This is the first episode where the story itself felt coherent IMO, best so far in that sense. The Lucifer cameo was great fun, loved the playful nod to the pronunciation of "Constantine" (every screen incarnation has pronounced it incorrectly and Lucifer's first attempt is correct - canonically, as John says himself in the Hellblazer comic, it's "...T-I-N-E. Rhymes with 'fine'").
Also loved Superman-38 as the anti-matter wave is engulfing them, giving Iris a stoic little nod, almost of reassurance - just like his "Kingdom Come" counterpart even in the darkness, he _still_ has hope, still believes the good guys have got this. That's Superman right there.

Oliver is Spectre. Plot twist: He is the 8th Paragon. The Paragon of Spirit. The Spirit of Heroes who inspires heroes to do good. Think about it. Without Oliver, we wouldn't have the Arrowverse so it makes sense.
