I just did my rear brakes yesterday. However, I couldn't turn the caliper piston. I ended up removing 2 small torx screws that holds the small motor to the caliper and manually turned the EPB mechanism (at the back of the caliper after the motor is removed) clockwise with a 7mm allen key and then used a C clamp to retract the piston. I found out this doesn't take much more effort. One tip, the brake hose made it difficult to remove the caliper at the first place. I found out that by losing the brake-hose-holding-clip on the trailing arm made the difference.

Did you find any issues after fitting? I've heard that the car has to learn the position of the new pads through the data cable.
after you turn ignition on, vehicle will adjust new pads position automatically
