Kudos for bringing your daughter/family into the restoration. Not sure if she's a advid car nut but it really warms your heart when you see a woman take interest in her dad's passion. Well done!
Another great episode! I'd call it a video but your channel has become a series of episodes conveying the journeys that many of us take with our cars, whether we have one or many. Alex Manos is always gracious and I enjoy visiting his treasure trove of cars, coming and going, at his warehouse. Car people are good people and every old car has a story. You bring these stories back to life and keep them alive too. I wonder how many people know Stevie Mac!?? Are you still here or did I miss you again? Anyway, you'll be back as these next few months are the best here in SoCal.
I've been here several times to inspect potential buys for clients. This place is somewhere you HAVE to visit if you're a car guy at least once. It's a wonderful place for sure, but make no mistake, its a business (car lot) first and foremost!
Great video as ever, loved your celebration! Quality work. It looks fantastic! I love it! The red E Type has always been my 1st wish, but the 61 Corvette was a close second.
Gary, are those wiper arms on the 190 SL supposed to sit so high on the windscreen? Is that another adjustment yet to come? Love your channel, you are the ‘ do it right the first time ‘ person that we all wish was our mechanic! Keep up the great content. 🇨🇦👍
Just a silver hi temp valve cover/header paint. Nothing special. They’re all pretty much of a muchness. Just make sure you scrub it clean with de-greaser first. Regards.
@@classic.obsession Don't feel bad. I met him once when i girl friend of mine was working as a photographer in Greenwich, CT and he came into the shop. She asked me if i wanted to be introduced to him and i was like, "definately". Funny how you talked about him specing his Mercedes in an unusual shade of colors because i found out alittle while after meeting him in person that he was well known in the town for driving the ONLY yellow Ferrari at that time. He had it special ordered and would be seen driving down the "Ave" in it so he was easily spotted. This was back in the late 1990's early 2000's. Will never forget that encounter.

It’s something we all need to encourage. Regards
Car guys ... the ones who aren't above getting their hands a little dirty ... are indeed the best of people
Great, a new episode, thx Gary and India!
