Question for you. Not fit sure if you tried it or not, or even if you still can just to let me know. Will the stock beadlock rims work with the portals?
Ok good deal. I got my hands on a 2 seater x3 with same stock beadlocks you had with libertys. I wanted to keep the stock beadlocks because I think it will help with width some. I just wanted to double check with you to see if the stock beadlocks still had room over the portal rotors since there really a positive offset wheel.
They did springs in the clutch… while it doesn’t make the engine make more horsepower it gives you more usable horsepower from what’s there plus the engine can rev out another few hundred RPM which is where much of the horsepower comes from, The engine has not been touched but when they put it on the Dino it gets 25 more horsepower in the same test which I think the video shows… I just know there’s way more horsepower than somebody that rock crawls can ever use 🤪

there's no reason to do portals unless you are hard core into rock crawling... a portal lifts you up while keeping the suspension basically stock and it acts like a low geared rear end in a jeep ( it'll reduce your gearing by either 15% or 30% and really no rock crawler wants 15% ) and now mine is 87" wide so i have a deck over trailer that the deck is 102" wide, it works very awesome but it's going to cost so much to do it that you'll regret starting the project... you can look at my last video and see what it does... if you're still here reading and are interested in doing it i can tell you everything to avoid ( since i made every stinking mistake possible ) and now it works perfect and i love it...
