I don't think he meant it that way. I think he meant no matter what stake you play do not pedastalize regs because they are all making mistakes in one way or another.
FYI guys, if you only listen to one poker player on earth, Uri Peleg is a great choice. He is truly an exceptional player and I’m happy to see he’s getting more and more confident on camera.
A second podcast with Uri would be great! 😎 Yes, process & content are both important. Maybe now focus on more on strategic ideas in the next Uri interview!
You da man Uri! I am a HS reg, I found myself nodding along many times during this. Also finally someone acknowledges not just variance, but the impact of the timing of variance. If you get a rough distribution of results early on then you are likely quitting the game. I also absolutely agree that you cannot classify a player as a top reg until you've seen them navigate a nasty DS.
I also like what you said about viewing every (non top tier) reg as a weak spot at the table. To reach HS you need a little arrogance to feel comfortable sitting these games..
@@wardosravin beautifull words mate! I allways had the arrogance but never got to the top lol. Now I am learning again the game from the roots and regaining the arrogance from the "good perspective". I am watching this podcast in parts and taking a lot of notes. This is insane. This poscast is insane. Love to read a HS player type the words that my "allways exagerated personality" would also type xD, cheers dude! hope you doing well upthere and hope to clash with you in a year of to, lol.
great content. there were parts where i felt like i was getting conflicting messages. on the one hand, talking about creative exploits that most players fail to identify, but on the other hand, talking about playing solidly in low-midstakes (where there's actually more to exploit). i think i understand what you guys meant to say - and still, i get curious about examples of radical plays that seem like harsh deviations from what players of low-midstakes usually do.
@@renekhm i am not able to get this and a few other of the recent episodes to play on spotify from my android phone. the early episodes and anything else on spotify seems to work just fine. did you guys make some changes to the file format or something?
still extremely unlikely scenario both for you and him. I've had many, many 30+bi downswing, probably even sometimes as quick as over the course of 2-3 days when I played 8kh+/day
How do you define Uri as high stakes player as he never played anything above nl200 on stars? He has like 4k samplesize on GGpoker also while being down 20k in EV (lol samplesize obviously). He is well spoken salesmen with great marketing (he makes a 1k course and suddenly he is in Wakko and Doug podcasts - what a great coincidence)
@@matta5749 obviosly he could have played a few nl10k hands, but he not a reg in any of those games. There are tracking sites and you could check that easily.
Some people are better coaches than players ! Simple as that . For me he is relating information and concepts in easy to learn and kind of light bulb statements . If I had anywhere near the money I would buy the course without hesitation . My goal now is to grind 1000 and invest . I feel empowered it’s great . Fantastic podcast . I love Adam and feel like if he had a few hours over a few weeks with uri , that uri would be a crusher . It’s quite evident that his mindset has stopped him crushing higher and higher stakes . Im kinda surprised he’s done so well with his mindset tbh
Adam has his role in this pod. Maybe u dont like his voice.. but i am not here to better his or my voice... and his questions and summierries are well measured
"If you are not playing nosebleeds then you are a FISH. Only high stakes players are REGS"..... Uri Peleg ♥️

Something is so odd about the guy thoo!
Theres something so odd about the guy tho
Alright, I'd like everyone to raise their hand. Now, if your hand is raised, you are a fish.
Pure gold. Always awesome to listen to Uri.
Best pod you've done
Exceptional work. I love Uri's content, this was excellent

We want the 2nd part vs Uri Peleg ofcourse !!
Great stuff !!

You just cant do that in a podcast and i dont think they would like to do that either
Uri is a very impressive human
Been waiting for this
Super pod, quality knowledge bombs
Listened to the whole thing
Nice podcast
I've learned as much during this 3 hours than in 10 years of being a pro cash game player
Impossible. To do that you need a lot of knowledge. This is just exploit concept
Great episode! Adam's insights are sharp and he's a good advocate for the listener. I could listen to Uri and the Wakko ramble all day.
Just founded out your channel and I'm loving it 😍 thank you! Much love for Uri as well. I could listen to you talk all day long 🙌
Great stuff, Uri is really good at explaining strategy. Always love to see some ex MTG players succeeding at poker.
Thank you guys!
Nice pod mate!
I’ve loved every episode, but I have to say this is my top one. Fantastic and thanks…

I find fatigue can be a real issue if you're in a very humid area. Trying to stick to mornings and afternoons.
Great podcast!
Part two please!!!

When is the podcast coming to Spotify or something similar need it for on the road xD
It is on spotify and apple

We currently have it on yt (obv) spotify and apple, no plans to add any other platforms atm

1:01:46 not a 30 BI downswing in his entire career? What???
I take it back. Looked at my database and my biggest downswing is 35 BIs (3 mil hands). Quite a few LONG break even stretches though.

Not at all!
Just repeated what had already been said. Would have been more efficient with just Uri and Rene.
