I am from Rawalpindi, a very honest review by RHS. Everyone should watch this before going to Kartarpura. Many other good options are available in Rawalpindi except Kartarpura.

I live in Rawalpindi and we don't go for sehri there. Instead, I recommend other places as these stalls are only available during Ramadan. There are a lot of better options available.

I'm a lahori currently living in Rawalpindi as a person who has tried these spots recently in ramadan i think akbar nikhari is better than kallay khan because it has that slimyness (we call it "lais") to it, taste of "tari" is better and meat has more raw taste to it (raw taste in a good sence not kachapan). Without any doubt the tawa piece is extremely delicious especially the gravy u will order more. When i ordered it they didn't put any lemon juice over it. I think the reason they did put it over ur piece was because it cuts that oilyness.
Recommendion: donot order spicy tawa piece it will be full of chilles and the original taste will be put to a side. Just go easy on ur taste buds.
Pindi ma "chano" ki game bht low ha because locals prefer to eat "lobia" (kidney beans) instead of it. Har cheez jis ma chanay hon ga uss ma lobia bhi milay ga mostly (like chana chat, fruit chat etc)

Love the honesty. I wish this video was available last year. I went there after watching Hamza Bhatti's Kartarpura video, and this was probably the biggest culinary regret of my life. There are far better post in the local markets of Marir, Tench etc

I’m from Rawalpindi, but kartarpura ki sehri shadeed over rated hai . Rush ki wjah se kisi b cheez ka koi taste nae haai. Saray khanay walay yahan seasonal hain . Start mei jo lassi wala tha woh hmare pass sofa ka kaam krta hai 😂

You are right it's very crowded. Last Ramadan there was almost a stampede and I was unable to breathe for couple of seconds so me and my friends got out of the crowd and waited at side until the crowd was over.
