Not sure if he does already, but you should maybe consider buying Cristian PPE for when he is in the embroidery room. Earplugs and ventilator masks at least. Seeing all the fuzz on the heat press and imagining him breathing that in. And then the constant noise of the machines, he's likely to have hearing loss eventually. Sorry if you have thought about this already!

I’d talk to Ninja Transfers, they might fix and resend them. My husband orders from them and if there is something he doesn’t like, he’ll make sure to note it on the next order.
Might be worth to see how they hold up with washing too
People aren't supposed to put them in the dryer, but some tests with just through the washer and hang dry, then later putting them through the dryer as well might be beneficial to see how they hold up under ideal and casual care.
I appreciate how much you put into researching to make sure you have the best quality for your products. It shows you really care about your brand.

Middle for sure! I think the color looked the best and easy peel is nice when you’re going to want to make larger batches. Can’t wait to see what you end up going with for designs!!❤
I know color doesn't come across for us as accurately, but the whole time, i was screaming in my head DTF Canada 😂 left one seemed way too yellow and ninja wasnt any better for the price

I work at a screen printing shop and while I don’t have much transfer experience, it’s a common problem to have an occasional white outline. For screen printing we use a white underlay first and have to line up the color just right or it has that faint border on one side. Could be a similar issue for these transfers, so in that case it might not be an issue with your file prob with the manufacturer.

So many plushies. I had to make a mountain of plushies in my corner of our bedroom, because even though our closet is walk through it doesn't have shelves for more than books so all the plushies are in one section kind of stacked on top of one another but hey it works! Love the blogs.
For the limited plushes I keep, I bought one of those corner nets we'd see as kids, and it just lives in an unused corner of my room! For the beanie babies, they make clear acrylic boxes that might help with stacking them.
When I was ordering htv I used stahls. I've never herd of ninja. They have dft but I've not tried there dft but there foils where nice.
Id also do a wear test because I've bought shirts from craft booths that use dtf and they are so uncomfy. Especially the paper texture you described, it isn't breathable material and makes my chest sweat a lot.

I am constantly reorganizing and can't help it. I need to find the best way to organize things. My husband is used to it at this point.
Off the bat, I hated the gloss on the Ninja Transfer one when you unrolled it. After your first round of presses, I loved the DTF Prints Canada the best. In my opinion, I liked the color, peel ability, and "feel" when you crinkled them. As someone who has had a few DTF shirts, it's the one I'd be most inclined to buy personally. On top of the price, I think it would be the best. Also, you could display that stuff in the wall between your packing station and windows! I have a ton of floating shelves in my office where I put plushies and things I want to see often.

I work at a DTF print company that I will not name, but those white edges can be one of two things.
1. the image uploaded is low quality so it has pixel drop off which I doubt is your case
2. they have a slight print head misalignment
print head misalignments happen easily especially if they try to rush the machine when it is going through its steps of transferring information and such from the computer to the printer. Also, it prints the color first and then a layer of white ink on top, and if the white print head is misaligned that is how you get the white outline. The white layer is crucial though it is what the powder sticks onto and then is cured to be able to press on fabric. Also, ALL DTF transfers are a bit transparent so I suggest not pressing your transfers on any patterned fabric as it can possibly show through the transfer.
Also red is the hardest color to print out for whatever reason and if you make a gang sheet always have all of your colored work on the top of the gang sheet and have all of your white at the bottom of it, as when it is mainly white designs they have to up the white ink percentage and it tends to mess up your prints if you have your white designs first and then color. Having all your color designs on top will help you have fewer issues with your transfers because some companies will print and not review or care to fix any issues. After all, you do agree to a consent form that any file issues are your problems.
That is extremely helpful! Thank you for taking the time to write this all out. Whites being at the bottom of the gang sheet is something I never would have considered. I'll follow that going forward!
Would it be possible to see what you do for the lead up to a shop launch? How you market it? Do you pay for advertising or anything like that? It’s amazing to see you get so many sales!❤
My vlogs are the main marketing, then I make a single social media post to each platform saying the launch is live. I usually just use product photos. I always tell myself I will make extra graphics & tiktoks, but I get too busy packing orders. I need to prep stuff ahead of time. I don't use any paid marketing. I don't have an email list, but I'm thinking of starting one.

Do a wash test and see how they hold up. I like knowing that the transfers hold up to multiple washes. Many shirts I've bought through big box stores the prints start peeling off after a few washes. With embroidery you don't have to really deal with that much.

do the DTF transfers feel slightly like latex? i have sensory issues and a lot of shirts in stores have the balloon like texture that is just a “no” for my brain 😅
Maybe ever so slightly? It doesn't grip your fingers like latex does.
since you have so much room above the shelves in the closet have you thought about putting another row of shelving above the existing to give you more storage room?
if you don't want to get rid of the plushies etc but don't want or can't display. i recommend vacuumpacking them. Saves a ton of space
Would you consider offering some of your note page designs as pdfs? The shippings quite steep for me (not your fault I'm just in Ireland😅) but I do digital journaling on a tablet with a s pen and would love them for that. Understand if you can't just noticed some the planners have pdf versions

Yes, since most scissors are made for right-hand use.
The big DTF in the thumbnail did not have me thinking about shirt transfers lol
The white edge is because the printer did not Choke the white back. You should always choke white back about 4 pixels to prevent the white edge.
I’m not sure if this is something you’re testing already or if it’s been mentioned, but I’d also try throwing the shirts in some loads of laundry to see how the transfers hold up :3
A few washes won't tell me much. I would need about 100 washes if I wanted to compare them. DTF is very durable.
Could the white lines be a sort of shadow type thing? To me it looks like its trying to make the letters appear more 3D if that makes sense, like bubble letters kinda.
They wouldn't make any changes to my design.

Have you folks thought about getting an air filter (the filter kind not the ionizing kind that puts harmful stuff into the air) for the embroidery room so you don’t breath in the fabric dust? There’s a lot there and it’s a small room.
I haven't looked into it yet, but I think that's a great idea! The heat press wasn't even next to the machines, yet it still caught that much lint. 😬

For the transfers, how well do they handle in the wash...er well both, wash and dryer I mean?
DTF is very durable, so it should last a long time. You can machine dry, but it will last longer if you don't.

I did not like ninja..although their shipping was fast I also had a problem with the white line. Didn't love the feel of them either especially after washing.

We're working on the restock right now, and hoping to drop the first half of it in about 3 weeks. Possibly a bit sooner.
I would test the transfers in the wash. It might make a difference
I would need to wash them 100+ times to know which lasts the longest. DTF is very durable.

My only concern with these DTF shirts is how well do they go through the wash? I mean how long do they last before chipping off? 🤔
They're one of the most durable transfer types out there.

Nice to once be at the almost launch of the video... 😊 I love everything you do. Unfortunately, the shipping is too expensive. So I already said it on my order, why don't you do the notepads also electronic like the planners. That would be very nice. So people that have to pay lots of shipment can still order prints and notepads and planners but as downloads. Anyhow could you perhaps consider it? Thank you. Another thing that I was thinking about is customizable hoodies and stuff... like if you want to give a hoodie to your girlfriend it's her name with artwork from you around it... just thinking out loud... so it is very personal... I don't know if there is a market for it.

The sheets are too big, and you'd have to create a custom cut file for the cricut everytime you order transfers. It wouldn't be worth the time.

That would only be useful for orders with multiple sweatshirts. My packages are small enough that weight is the main price factor.
