Cole needs to get into rodeo commentary he would be great with his voice!
Would love to see Dale's reaction; and curious about its story; and wish I could hear all the stories it could tell. Great job, those designs are awesome. Appreciation of the past always make our future of more value and worth.
Nice work Cole. Those old saddles are awesome i grew up riding in a Colorado Saddlery.
Came out beautiful! Great job! Speaking about great…Dale Brisby texted me today for my birthday. Thank you Dale!!!
Nice looking saddle once cleaned up. I love the round skirts. I bet it made someone proud in its day.
Coles mustache looks good.
😂, “ I think it’s hooked to something.” Pause* “thank you Willie”. Lol
Wholeie jumpins guys you restored that saddle and made it soume perty !!!! That was a tonne of work!!!! cole and willie saddle restoration company !!!! Awesome == more real-life and hard work , ranching at it's best ... Rodeo Time ..yeah ! Ioved the previous episoe where everyone was Ranchin and Gabe and Naomi got engaged...all the best to the young couple, fine young people !!!!
Good job! If I were to do it the 1st step would have been to the tool shed and air blow out all the nooks and crannies
Maybe you did, but if you didn't, most important part to condition is the bend of the stirrup strap than wrap under the saddle tree. If that's old and dry, and you didn't get in there, it will be the first thing to break... Great job though, always amazing to restore old saddles!
I pray the best for all y’all
I used to go as a kid and get neighbors saddles and clean them up. I would do anything horsey.
Nice work Cole.
Love y’all’s videos! Keep doing a great job
Cole is a cowboy
Good work Cole!
That's awesome job boy's if dale will let you you guys shoud fix up all them Old saddles and take them to Elkhart horse auction tack sale or you guys coud fix one up nice and donate it to a cowboy benefit someday..
Great job Cole... Montana work ethic
Awesome that you were able clean it up so well. I found your video bc I have 2 saddles I’ve lent out forever got them back bc friends didn’t want to throw out yet steerups gone broken off both so ends of side leg panels not cool at bottoms and spine of English saddle is shot been broken yet these saddles I’ve had since I was young so I’m gonna do a pair of diy stools with them yet their so dry also. My plan at first was wet them down bc when I was younger would spray down with garden hose , saddle soap them, then leave on corral gate to dry. Yet since I was looking for saddle soap and it now comes in a bottle which I’m used to can of wax type yet I have conditioner spray but you mentioned Vaseline yes this is what my good old saddles needs! Thanks much 😊
I got a saddle with a swell like that. It's from about 1920. Made by A.B. Eggland, Douglas Az.
Awesome ol saddle
Cool looking saddle there.
Neatsfoot oil.. miracles on old saddles
Cole kinda sounds like a country Johnny depp
Hahahaha thank you. That one's a first.
Great job two more to go
My favorite thing to do is restore old leather tack I do it all the time just for fun
dale yeah
keep work on that saddle it will be a good saddle
Fine job!
Nice!!!
Yeah they did!
Cole tnks for lokin this sadle is Berry nace
Looks like it could use some leather dye and a taste of mink oil.
What brand products did you use? Looks nice!
I want to know what kind of saddle it is. What type of horse the tree fits. Is it a child's saddle--or did John Wayne ride on it. Not all saddles fit the same horse and rider.
That saddle needs to be dropped on a vat of neatsfoot oil and soaked a couple days.
Score!
Dale yeah
What about the 2 saddles
Not me at ten years old watching this😂 I found my uncle who died olds saddle😢 and we wanna fix it up
It already looks like a different saddle.
Looks good. What about the other two saddles
They're next
@@RodeoTime that is great to hear. That saddle looks a lot like my dads old Hereford saddle that was made in the 30s.
Que homem lindo
Where in the heck is Leroy??
10 min restoration not!
Where do I get a hat like cole’s
American Hats
@@RodeoTime thank you! how many inches on the brim? that wouldve been the more appropriate initial question
3 3/4"
@@colesnider8996 thank you!
Soak that thing in olive oil, penetrates better than others.
I don't know this channel and the characters, but please at least take the fenders off and take the saddle apart as much as possible and clean each piece and do each piece individually so all dirt is removed and each piece can be moisturized and dried thoroughly before applying another layer only when the first layer is dried. This saddle needs new strings. The conchos need to come off and be cleaned and polished and what is under them needs a cleaning. This is a basic saddle cleaning and moisturizing. Needs so much more work.
Third comment ….maybe 🙄
Duhhhh I think it’s hooked to something…thank you Willy. 😑😑
A good pad is what you need, sheepskin is nice but costly.
Oops didn't mean to thumbs down. New sheepskin on a saddle is like $400-450 (2023 price). So good saddle pad more cost effective especially for one you're not really using (like my 1960s Big Horn I rode the lining clean off). :)
I bought an old beat up saddle just like this and cleaned it up. It’s my main saddle now and has a gel seat saver on it with a sheepskin seat saver over that. Only thing is you can’t see the designs on it but i guess you can’t when your sat on it either 😂
Nice job Cole !
