Still think it’s so goofy that “Where’s Gary?” A song intended for one of the saddest episodes, “Have You Seen This Snail?” (I think that’s name) SpongeBob losing his best friend over selfish decisions. Is actually way happier than “The Best Day Ever” which was so hyped up to be.. well.. The Best.
I seriously listen to this with my 5 year old every single night while putting him to bed. It's become a tradition. Every single night. Thanks to the uploader!!!

i had this CD when i was a kid but i eventually lost it (probably in a move). i REALLY wanna get my hands on the actual physical CD of this again. my inner child will be screaming and jumping for joy when im finally able to add this absolute GEM to my Discogs.
This is so fucking cute and there’s so much passion put into it it’s as funny and clever as an actual episode from that time too, everything about this is just so silly and fun and lovely and I love love LOVE SpongeBob
I am currently 15 and remember getting this for Christmas in 2008 and I listened to this over and over and this just brings me back to those times, thank you for uploading this dude
I remember this from my childhood, I would always get it from the library, I would keep renewing it until I couldn't renew it anymore, and then I would just return it and rent it again. But then the library closed and I never saw that album again ;-;
I have a similar childhood story with The Pilot A Mini-Movie and The Square Shorts DVD i would always renew it and when I couldn’t renew it anymore I would just check it out again for YEARS but then in Christmas 2017 or 2018 I think i finally got the DVD
Riding the hook Tightly whiteys Where's Gary? You will obey! Under the rock Bikini Bottom/Rock Bottom Fishin for money! Doin the krabby patty! And the rest is the best :)
My childhood is so complete rn. I had this album when I was 5/6 and I had a Hello Kitty radio and I would put this in it and listen to this forever along with kids bop. 😂💙❤️ Childhood was amazing because of this. I honestly want to cry because so many good memories of this :))). 100/10 would recommend
And this was during Season 4. It’s not as good as the first three but this season was able to maintain and replicate some of the magic that made the previous seasons special which other seasons after struggled to do. I personally find Season 4 to be overhated. The quality of show has improved in recent years but it still struggles to be as funny as it was during the first four seasons which proves that the show still is recovering from the Seasonal Rot that it suffered from after Hillenburg left which is to be expected for a lot of long running shows. The Fairly OddParents, Loud House and Rugrats also suffered from that. This album is fire and the skits and tracks are funny af. A lot of the Post Movie songs are criminally underrated to be honest.
@idkany293 Really? That would explain the tracklist (Best Day Ever and Employee of the Month are from the Movie CD) but I've never heard that claim before Plus this album is full of episode references, a parallel to the marathon that hyped up the episode. Though Where's Gary is the only S4 rep here
@@CosmicSponge2004The Best Day Ever, Under My Rock and Employee Of The Month were form the first movie but the others are new songs. I think Nick should have made the Best Day Ever episode a special or a TV movie because these songs would receive more attention nowadays. It was a massive missed opportunity.
I had a copy of this album on CD when I was 5 or 6. I would stay up all night listening to this while messing up my bed everything. Basically, this was one of the most lit things my childhood had ever listened to, and I'm happy that I have finally come across it again. :)
it actually WAS blocked for years to everyone but canada (along with many spongebob YTPs on my main channel) but sometime this year those must have all been cancelled - maybe a 'copyright deadlock' situation.... can't complain tho!

Absolutely LOVED this album as a kid! Still holds up really well.. catchy songs, and surprisingly funny for a later SpongeBob project, after the original writers and storyboarders left.. any chance of download link for each song? If not, no worries.. thanks for this awesome upload!
it was! it played during the credits. (after Ocean Man) i think that's when it first appeared - then it was put on this album, then the Best Day Ever episode aired.
Ive always wondered why they based an episode off of it. I can see why the movie had it in there. Originally. The movie was supposed to be the ending to spongebob series itself. ((Rumored)) At least that is What I have heard. Still a great song to listen to, And its one of the songs from my childhood.
Oh My God This Is Weird. under my rock and the title track are on the same album and the same movie soundtrack. Even though under my rock isn't in the movie.
The album was in development the same time as the movie. Hence, why two of the songs here (and three if you had some exclusive) were on the movie album
I remember buying this album the day it came out when I was younger. I loved the show, but never thought I'd like to hear the characters sing. I was wrong. These songs are very well done, even though the Spongebob cast sings it. I also loved how it is like listening to the radio if you lived in Bikini Bottom. It is a very nice touch and is atmospheric. If you have kids, this can easily be an incredible album for them. Its one of the many reasons I love classic Spongebob. It has suffered seasonal rot, (Its to be expected after airing for so long), but slowly has gotten better in the past few years. Its not perfect, I don't think anything will top the early seasons while Stephen Hillenburg was alive and working on the show. Leave a reply, I'd love to discuss the show and this album with those interested. Thank you @notwilliam_ for uploading this and not turning the comments off so I can share these opinions.

There is some Wilsonian influence on Spongebob's songs. Sunshine pop-esque.
Brian Wilson actually does backing vocals for “Doin’ the Krabby Patty”. And a lot of The Wrecking Crew plays on the album.
