Have invited Mormons into my home for Christmas many times. Never have any trouble or ill will. I never try to press them about their beliefs or history because I know that more people have died over religious beliefs than anything else. Great job on this video sir.

This is really interesting. Although I'm not Mormon, my maternal side is very much so. I found this series to be one of the best.

Never knew Porter could read and write to be able to sign his name on the supposed document 83 men signed....

Porter signed his mark, the sixty-ninth of eighty-three "charter members of the Danite Society" on a list that Rockwell's biographer Harold Schindler said "comprised a veritable “Who’s Who” of Mormondom."

To so heavily imply Rockwell was responsible for the attempt on Boggs' life is showing bad intentions. He was tried for it and aquitted. He was an incredible marksman. If it was Porter who took the shot, id have no doubt that Boggs would have been killed.

Boggs was shot several times in the face but survived, by the grace of god? Porter Rockwell was NOT tried. He was arrested for the crime and a case was presented but the grand jury did not have sufficient evidence at the time to indict. Several, at least 3, witnesses have since attested to Smith talking about the assassination of Boggs as well as directly implicating Rockwell in the attempt. To heavily imply these are not the facts of what happened shows either intentional dishonesty (lying) or being woefully misled (lied to) on your part.
Orin had motive, means and opportunity. Not only that but he was identified as the man who probably stole the gun in the shooting, working in the same town Boggs was in under an assumed name. He did it dude, stop this.

@@Draegoron He wasn’t tried, he was not indicted, there’s a difference. They got Porters name because he was found to be in the area using a fake name and the store owner who had the weapon used stolen from him said it was more than likely a suspicious character. That suspicious character was Porter using the fake name. He had motive, means and opportunity on top of several witnesses saying they heard statements which would indicate Porter went to kill Boggs. Boggs was shot in the face and barely survived. Enough already.
