Ever since I heard this song, it has been my favorite of all, not only Ayreon's, but freaking every band and artist's... It makes me cry almost every time. It just fills me, like no other one could. Damian has such a tremendous voice. I can see why he's featured in nearly every Aryeon album. The atmosphere of the song is already terrific and his voice carries it to greater heights.
I remember reading somewhere Damian didn't really like this song when recording it in 2000. When I saw him singing this song at the Ayreon Universe shows there was so much power and emotion in his voice. A truly amazing performance. My guess is that he had a change of heart regarding this song?
I got goosebumps during the whole preformance of this song at the Ayreon Universe show and absolutely fell in love with the way Damian sang this song. So much power and emotion like you said! What made the whole evening even better was that Damian asked me for a picture, instead of me asking him :D (Which I would have if he hadn't asked me!)

Tem mais um aqui hahaha é incrivel o Universo de Ayreon, eu prefiro muito o projeto Ayreon, do que muitos projetos de rock/metal progressivo cuja técnica musical é mais importante que a letra, eu penso que eles esqueceram como o rock progressivo surgiu na décadas passadas, que era uma revolução na melodia assim como na letra, mas Arjen manteve seu foco nisto, é por isso que ela é muito respeitada mesmo não tendo um público tão grande quanto da banda Dream Theather ou outra parecida.
