That very last question re how Tantra ( Tibetan ) can play a role in healing mental health in relation to psychedelics I would love to share my thoughts and 20 years experience on this as a vajrayana practitioner if you may like to get in touch
I have yet to see Terrence McKenna's machine elves etc but it seems all Tibetan art not just the Vajrayogini mandala) is quite psychedelic into itself. Thanks again, from one of your new subscribers❤
Thank you for subscribing and happy you enjoyed the talk. Totally, the art definitely has those aspects and love how Lama Mike bridges the gap between Psychedelics and Tibetan Buddhism.
Profound. I learned so much from this talk. This information is pretty deep. I also find it quite interesting to hear the names I see in various writings, pronounced, as they are, by Lama Crowley. This really helped me put a number of things, regarding these things, in context. Thanks a lot, everyone.
I’m curious about the instruction of not to listen to the Dakini before proper induction rites to Vajrayogini. At least in the one case discussed here. Was it that he would misinterpret and he wasn’t ready? I’ve heard Vajrayogini practice is dangerous without introduction to the generation stage by a monastic. I never knew what kind of danger they meant.
Engaging in advanced tantric practices like those involving Vajrayogini without proper empowerment and guidance can be dangerous due to the potential for psychological imbalance, spiritual harm, negative karmic consequences, misuse of power, incompletion of practice, and energetic imbalances. Empowerment provides the essential protection, blessings, and guidance needed to safely and effectively undertake these practices, ensuring the practitioner progresses on their spiritual path without encountering these risks.
Thank you so much indeed dear Lama Mike I needed to hear this
