- This is the Schwartzman meat packing company located in the south valley in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This slaughter was open in the 1950's and shut down in the mid 1980's. The property was own by the Schwartzman's family for many generations and was sold to be re-developed. But it never was. It has been sitting, abandoned, rotting away in the hot sun of New Mexico. join Buggs as he explores this slaughter house.

I know of one slaughterhouse left. Used to pick up meat from there for sysco. I'd like to say it was up in mountainair, but it's been such a long time I can't say for certain. Cool video, thanks for sharing.
That is a great piece of information. Thank you for watching!
Hello. Love the videos. I haven't seen you do the tunnel under Paseo Del Norte and Domingo Baca rd just East of Jefferson on the North side of Paseo.
@@moseisley7335 Yes, I know. I need to explore this area more.
I went there with a girl a few years ago. She told me this whole story about German WWII POWs that were forced to work there. Not a bad night when we went poking around ;).
Hi buggs, I explored this place about 40 years ago. kind of a weird ramp in there that looks like it's about to collapse as far as I can remember, be safe, Charlie
Never thought I would see this spot on RUclips
I would call this place the shop of horror's. I remember driving by this place in the seventies and there was a strong stench smell that made me sick.

I filmed there. I captured a shadow person. Channel 4 interviewed me there.
Wow!
Fantastic video I appreciate you sharing the graffiti. It would be enjoyable to restore that VooDoo boat. Anticipating your upcoming video.
The boat is definitely something special.

I've been there. Didn't know the history of it. the rail cars look really old. Wonder when they were set up and converted to buildings.
