Have you played one of these? Would you recommend it? OH! And do you have the *other* model, the AHM*3*70AHMZ? If so, let us know how the two differ! Is one more playable than the other? Sounds different?
2:27 There’s another difference between the two models. As you have already mentioned the tremolo system is a different one, however if you look at the back plate of both models you will notice the difference. Of course the difference in back plates is related to the different tremolo systems between the two models. How do I know, because I own the 370AHMZ model and I just watched this video and the difference stood out to me straight away. Just watch Darren Braun Guitar review of the RG370AHMZ model at 2:40 and you will know what I mean 🤘🏻
I have this guitar and its awesome and i agree the quantom pickups actually sound great. Maybe not as detailed in the cleans. Eventually I'm going to upgrade the locking nut and trem when they get used and worn through out the years. Good video
You do you bruz, the shiny protective plastic can come off your humbuckers. Just bought the rg370ahmz for my entry into a metal shredder before it went up by 300 for the rg470ahmz. 👍 Good vid!
I like these because they are still Ibanez and still a guitar for rock, but they don’t look as outrageous as the other RG’s and can be used for other type of music too without looking silly.
Hello. I have the RG370. It has the Zero Point Bridge. The system is way better than the Doble Locking Tremolo. It is a Pitty the headstock does not have the same body paint.
it does play well WITH SOME MODIFICATION. red. silent springs. from fu tone. but puckups are shit. at least mine. no guts. i prefer my iceman stm3's. with duncan JB
Yes, all Ibanez RG models with a H-S-H & 5 way switch configuration have it, usually the middle positions ( 2 + 4 ) with give you the inner coil of the bridge & neck humbucker with the single coil in the middle. Steve Vai introduced this set up with the first JEM back in the day & Ibanez has pretty much adopted it on all RG with a similar H-S-H setup. If you go to the Ibanez website, they have the switching diagrams on every model page.
Thanks for watching and asking! Not having played a DX--and with the caveat that Ibanez is having LOTS of quality control issues lately--I'd say it doesn't matter. The only differences except color seems to be the wood, the fret inlays, and the bridge. The AHM has an ash body and maple fretboard while the DX has a meranti body and jabotba fretboard. Both have a lower-end Ibanez locking vibrato bridge, but they don't seem to be he same bridge. You'll hear (or read) people say that ash and maple are better because they're good "tone woods," but that's hogwash for a Metal guitar. If I were torn between the two models, I'd think which looks more like it *wants* you to play it, and buy that one.
Thanks for asking! I had no troubles with tuning stability, but of course that doesn't mean that every such guitar will be solid in that respect. (I had an Ibanez Jiva Jr at the same time, and that f***er would stay in tune no matter what I did, regardless of its locking nut)
No, I meant that you would probably *not" regret buying the Ibanez. I've not played a Schecter so can't tell you anything about them. Whatever you decide, please let us know! 🤟

I just bought the RG470AHM which has a zero edge 2

Great video man 🤘
Got a 470PB, fit and finish is outta this world, and for 599$ i dont think anything is beating it at the price point either.

Thanks, man! I'm glad you like the guitar 🤘

Does it has coil split?

Thanks for watching and asking!

You don't know, but you have viewers in Brazil 🇧🇷 👋
I know now--great, and thanks for watching!
www.zzounds .com/item--IBAS570AH?siid=251937 🤘
I was wondering about the tuning stability? Thanks for any help

Dude you look like Wolf Hoffmann’s alter ego. 😂
One of us is the evil twin, but I can't tell which one... 🤘
You’re really selling me on this guitar. It’s down to this one or the Schecter Demon
This is a nice machine? I can't tell you about the Schecter, but I expect you'd have few regrets if you chose the Ibanez.
@@MetalProfessor65 so buying a Schecter over Ibanez is the way to go?

I have a demon 6. For metal I prefer it to my 2003 Gibson les paul studio. It's phenomenal.
