I can't see riding with these all the time, but they would be GREAT to have in a dealership or local bike/metal fab shop. Have a customer sit on the demo bike, set all the variable positions how they like them, then take the measurements for a set of conventional custom bars. Chances are, you're not going to vary your riding position from Monday to Wednesday, but as a one time fitting tool this would invaluable. It would be even more valuable if there were measurements on the bar telling the fabricator the exact lengths, bends, rise, and pull back. It seems like a very easy and reliable way to make sure your custom bars are perfect.
Having started a model specific forum on Facebook, some of my guys have been looking to make small changes to the handlebars before they plunk down money on a solid version. This is a great way to see what angle changes you might need before getting a different set of bars.
I recently purchased a set for my '98 Dyna fxds, they are a little pricey but are worth every penny. They drastically changed the look of my bike, for the better. My comfort level is 10 times better, no more numb wrists and I sit up straighter due to the set back adjustment. The workmanship and quality on these bars is excellent, with me being a 32 year machinist it's easy to see. and being made right here in the U.S. is a great bonus. If you are on the fence thinking of purchasing a set do it, you won't be disappointed
The product we have for the GL1800 & F6B can be found here: www.helibars.com/products/helibars-horizon-lst-multi-axis-adjustable-handlebars-for-honda-f6b-gl1800-goldwing.html
Wow, do I wish you had internal wiring ability. But with all the custom work to my harley Deluxe, I don't want to take away from the looks and the points I would lose at bike shows for external wiring. But great bars and very informative video. Thanks, Ferris
What would these bars be equal to dimension-wise with the new releases? The 400 series or the 700 series? Also, can these things be internally wired for Harley applications (not throttle by wire)? I know the cost is killer for production but I gotta say guys.... the bars in the video would find a place on my scoot before the current models.
+Arnold Sanders We no longer produce this particular model. Due to production costs we would have had to increase the price to $1200+. There are still three points of adjustment in the new model. Where they mount on the bike forward and back and the pivot joints two adjustment locations.
This model is no longer in production and would not have fit in the fairing of a Tri Glide. The model you would need is here: www.helibars.com/products/HeliBars®-Horizon™-ES-multi%252daxis-adjustable-handlebar-system-for-Harley-Davidson-Electra-Glide-%26-Street-Glide/610.html
Sir; (0) I have looked thru your WebSite/URL for this/the set of HeliBars of which you are showing in this demo/propaganda/sales video especially for my 2004-FLH-ROAD-KING & it/they appear(s) to be non-existant; (1) Can you direct me to the URL for photo & description & purchase info. for these same bars? (2) Ie.. exactly like the ones in this video with an adjustable Rise in the 8"-10" range? (3) Chrome or polished Al; Not black; (4) 1" clamp & grip diameter; TIA....
That many pivot points seems cool, but also seems like many points of failure. What if one pivot works its way lose and shifts all or part of the bar while riding.
What about the wiring???? Does it accept through the bars? Why didn’t he talk about a CRUCIAL consideration? The wiring??? So if you own a $32,000 Ultra Limited Classic, you cant use these Bart’s because it wont accept the wiring?
THE BARS ALLOW YOU TO RIDE COMFORTABLY...THEY AINT ABOUT $$$,$$$ BLAB BLAB BLA BLA BLA BLA...THIS IS A JUST GO WITH IT PRODUCT,IF YOU WANT COMFORT WHEN YOU'RE RIDING...BESIDES WIRING, THERES CABLES AND BRAKE LINES...DO YOU WANT EVERYTHING TRU THE BARS, HUH? CALL A PLUMMER...ENJOYED YOUR COMPANY AND THAT ULTRA LEMICLASSY SOUNDS LIKE ALMOST LEMONADE . IT'S A VIBRATOR, RIGHT?
Why not just make your own and paint them black. Everyone likes that "blacked out" shit now days anyway so looks easy enough if you have any mechanical abilities at all.
+Jennifer Pettengill Makes me happy that I have a set just like these featured...they are great and look Harley Manly...I wouldn't part with them for any price...just curious how much did they cost originally?...I was told $2k by a dealer.
That Bar is Sharp as hell...Has everything you need. Awesome !!!

Is this style of Horizon handlebars still avail? noticed you have changed from 3 points of adjustment to 2.

Crazy Acres, yes it comes in black, well it does for my street glide any way. I just went to the website and looked at everything.
will these work on an 04 VROD?
We would need to see photos of your bike. Send them over to quality@helibars.com

That is why we have safety features built in.
Watching the whole video will answer your question bud, it has safety points in case that happens.
What about internal wiring, man? )))
To bad you don't make them for a Honda VTX
sweet how much
Wow my elbow is killing me on my Road-King on long trip, that may work
Weight?
These bars are no longer in production I *believe* they were 14lbs boxed.
forgot to show the slow turn demo
Nice!

Price?
***** Depends on the bike model, product model. Email us at quality@helibars.com
I would tig weld that in one place.
try running internal wiring on those lol,
Good
a biker machinist wetdreams! very cool!!
That looks like a whole lot of screws to shake loose on the road.
Locktite should handle that concern. I’d apply it to every associated screw even on a smoother metric scooter.
Idk about this handlebar, it has too many moving parts .
We have safety features built in to our product unlike other products on the market.
sorry, no offence. just wasted my bike recently and tired of searchin for the parts.
Why not just make your own and paint them black. Everyone likes that "blacked out" shit now days anyway so looks easy enough if you have any mechanical abilities at all.
Where can I find that exact set up cause I can not find them on the website?
Dave Mcl This particular design is not in production. The bars we currently produce have the same features just different aesthetics.
So just for the video. If those ones ever go into production let me know.
They were in production in 2008 and 2009. Due to engineering costs for this model it was discontinued.
Ok thanx
