Hello Big B’ham, My ole Hometown. Residing in the Big D(Detroit) over 50 years now, I recall Mr. fine Larry Langford as a young News Reporter. To hear his Alcaldes, that supercedes the late 1960’s thru the 70’s of Drug Days, is Amazing! Iam so glad he made a big difference for that slow hometown of mine.Thank God! An amazing video, nice big afro. He was well spoken, even back then, and here we are in 2021, and the things he wanted to accomplish, didn't get accomplished, as the crime has gotten even worse. I use to literally love that city, and now that I've moved away, I don't miss anything about that city. The morale is way down, it hasn't shown any growth, and it hasn't been not one public servant that was outspoken as Langford about the growth of that city, and it shows.
It is amazing. He has good ideas in 1979 and he did not accomplish one of them by 2009. Thirty years later and we have less jobs and worse crime. He accomplished nothing!. I hate him even more now.
