So this was not helpful. Because I can't access any of my account. I try to change my password and it just refreshes the pop up and has me do it again and again. I tried it on another device and the same thing happens. So I deleted it on my phone. I redownloaded and signed in and nothing shows on the feed or my profile. And when I try to go to app center or the security tab it won't load anything. Just an arrow to try again. But none of what you advise helps because I can't go through the process to fix it. Someone please help!!!

@@francesvandermerwe2497I just found out how to fix this problem. Basically u uninstall and install the app then u type in your user on the log in screen and then click forgot password. After u get the email choose reset password. After that try logging into your account again and it should work. Took me an hour to figure out 😭
Update: anyone who has this issue. Use desktop not your phone. Step 1: Clear all your browser history, cache, cookies. Step 2: Open incognito and click forgot your password. Reset your pw that way and you will log back in. Step 3: Logout and log back in on regular window not the incognito. Now for phone: uninstall the the app and log back in. Make sure you do the above steps first. Btw I didn't have my account connected to any third party app or site. Never ever in my life used any such services yet I had this flag. So It's a glitch.

You have to delete the app from your phone, find a laptop, clear history, cookies and passwords and Google Instagram login, then click on "forgot my password" and they will send you a link to your email. Then create a new password and reinstall the app on your phone and log in with the new password. It works!

I never used any third app. they were all real people who liked my artwork and liked it and even had conversations with them via DM. I think they came from a facebook group. Instagram is just stupid. if it happened now then for sure it will happen again
