Hi Kat I did get the lamp lol . I was having a hot flash at that moment 😂. That was an amazing haul and I so appreciate you sharing that find with me :). Great day and are we official Lamp Ladies 😂
I also pick up Christmas all year long. You may not find what you want when Christmas rolls around! Plus it doesn't hurt the pocketbook as much that way if it is not all at once. Love all the information you share. Thank you so much for your videos!
@@katstreasurehunting I thought you should know because if someone is looking for these glasses it's good to put the Old Country Roses in your listing.
Just popping in to wave again! I enjoy the narration BTW. 😊 my mom used to love cross stich. Her hands won't work for it anymore and it broke her heart to give it up.
Yes! I totally buy Christmas all year 🎄 last year I even pulled off a surprise Christmas in July 😎 people think I’m crazy but at the end they are rushing and I’m relaxing 😃
I love your finds today...my mother gave me a teapot and teacups and a few collectable things like a music box teacup with those dainty flower top and creamer/sugar, trivet and S and P in a stand of the Old Country Roses...some day i may get a few place settings...I adore it..never told her and she got it for me when I moved back to state of Origin Christmas 2007...she passed 2012 and I always feel her heart when I see it...I think it is just lovely and showy in a good way and remember my grandmothers floating big blooms in rose bowls..would be cool to do that with this pattern...it is really special..kind of a double whammy Hi MOM to see you waited and got those when it would work to for resale...just cool...happy day when you get this..that was FUN...
@@katstreasurehunting Thanks so for the sweet chats..I so enjoy this kind of looking and shopping. thanks for your wish as well...I really am thinking of just going to a small city to just thrift shop for a trip..LOL..limited here in Montana in a smaller town. Where I lived and went to school in Portland OR and environs...they have wonderful thrifting...xo.
I buy VanHygan & Smythe wooden plate frames. I sell them for $35 Canadian and mostly ship to thr US. Can't keep them in stock. I'm always on thr lookout for them in good condition. Hard to find without damage to the gold trim. Definately a BOLO for me!
Always check the clear glass for crystal wine glasses. I found a set recently that I paid $10 for and they sold overnight for $120 to a buyer in Italy.
@@katstreasurehunting Most quality wine glasses are crystal. You can clink for the sound. They also have the name of the maker on the bottom of the glass. We use Riedel in our house. The ones I sold I looked up the maker because it wasn't a common one. I was surprised at the comps.
Those clear bottles with the white lids ... I have some that i've thrifted ... And I keep my jewelry findings in them so they don't tarnish. You definitely got some treasures! I can't wait to see dalton in his new sweater! I buy christmas gifts all year!
You got a very nice variety of goodies. And yes, I Christmas shop year round. It's a lot less out of pocket than spending a fortune when the season arrives. And there is never any rush to buy this or that. The best thing is it's not a planned purchase for me. Gifts that suit a special person stand out usually to me. And it never matters if it's thrifted or new. It's all good! Thanks for sharing. The painted sand dollar was really cool. Bye4now! 😉👍❤
I really enjoy your thrifting adventures. I also start Xmas shopping very early, like January!. Not only does it keep the last minute rush down, it also spreads out the expense. You got some good items today. Happy thrifting. 😊
Nice! I was yelling at you to go back to that Bohemian cut to clear glass lol....virtual shopping thru you. Ahmazing finds! I love ironstone. I'm looking for the black or purple ironstone platters/pitchers...the most expensive one lol. Those bottles were old spice jars, the labels were missing. They used to go in a wood rack that mounted to the wall. Don't overlook milk glass, the more unusual patterns/shapes are good and it is trending now, esp pink and blue milk glass. I just sold a tiny pink milk glass Fenton Fan vase for over $40 listed for only a week. I find the eBay comps aren't really on point for that, more like a race to the bottom. I did spy a small clear swung when you were in the vases. I've had to retrain my eye in the clear area, sometimes there are hidden treasures.
This may be a dumb question but when you list the plate frames do you list with the plates or without the plates? If without, do youlist the separately?
@@katstreasurehunting No, it was near the beginning. It may have been a stuffed animal but it looked wooden to me but it’s also time for me to get my eyes checked.
Bras at our GW store are now $7.99! Even higher for VS at Salvation Army. I took a NWT VS bra to the counter thinking it was $3.99; turns out it was $13.99! 😢
Question: Do you clean your finds before you list them? Not the clothes /linens but anything else that may have dust or what appears to be dirt? Like the wicker lamp-do you do anything to it or just list it? Sorry don’t know if I’m getting across what I’m trying to say.
Koi and Figs are probably the two I always get if in good shape but I also get characters and graphics of any brand if I think I can keyword it well LOL

hahahahah yes we are :D
Are you both crazy, is the question? lol 😂
I know I am :)
Hello I used to manage a art gallery and a little tip when stacking framed art.Put them face to face and back to back so you don't scratch the glass.
Thank you!
Those looked to be run of the mill spice bottles. Nothing lost by passing on them. 💕💖💕
Thank you
I loved that bell pepper pot!!!!!

Those glasses you have are Old Country Rose's originally made by Royal Albert but Royal Doulton bought them out.
Oh thanks

Oh no! I can imagine that's hard :(
They were spice jars from the 70’s. They sat in a wooden rack
Thank you!
Hi Kat! That latch hook wall hanging of a church looks like it is Mission San Xavier del Bac south of Tucson, AZ.
Thank you!
Wow that was an overfilled cart of some nice treasures.😃
Yes good finds this day for sure

So many great finds Kat! Dalton will look so adorable in the wool sweater.
I think so too!
@katstreasurehunting wool in the winter in Florida? It made me itch just looking at it, and I live in a cold winter weather climate
You will be lucky if its itchy he may not like it.😢
Kat, I really enjoy watching your videos
Oh thank you!
I start Christmas shopping by January 1!
Yes that's the way to do it
Wow you did get a lot of nice things !! I have sold a few of those plates in a wood frame . Will check them out to see if mine are the same frames !
Please do!
The old gold frames worth good money. Sell pretty fast. Take out photo and sell frame alone. Were several in pictures
Love thrifting with you!
Yay! Thank you!
Those look like the McCormick spice bottles and they can do ok, not sure about buy in of ten though
The bag of bottles were for spices.
worth picking up?
Depending on how many there were. Maybe for $5. $10 you might get 2.5-3 times your money if there were around 10 of them.
I love the sand dollar!
Yes isn't it beautiful!

Yes we do they're all about a hour or so away!

Thanks for watching!
I am very interested in the Sunflower Diamond pic
Please email me thenurseflipper@yahoo.com and let me know if you want in the frame or without (without it will ship much cheaper)

Without the plates and I'll list them as a lot
Awesome haul!!! You are such a sweetheart ♥♥♥
Thank you!
Really great haul. Do you remove the plates and just sell the round frames?
Yes I do! I'll sell the plates since I got them but the only reason I picked them up is for the frames
Omgoosh kat what a haul I diffently to come there to thift women 😊❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah some good stuff at this one for sure!
If you are selling the cat tapestry I would love to buy it! I looked on your eBay store and didn’t see it posted yet 🩷
I think someone commented earlier and emailed about it I go by order of the email. If she doesn't take it I can let you know

I am curious how long you spent in a store that size? I tend to spend a couple of hours in most thrifts as I look at everything - every category.
About a hour and a half and I do the same LOL

We wipe down if dirty yes. The lamp I didn't see much dust but if there was we would use canned air to blow out

Hi, I would love to buy the kitty welcome tapestry please?!
Yes please email me thenurseflipper@yahoo.com
Hi Kat. I’ve heard you in videos say the something is “recycled glass”. How do you know?
I just can tell by looking at it. If you've not seen it try going to an antique mall once you see it and know the look is easy to recognize
i really wish u would try doing live thrifting vs voiceover thrifting
There is music in all of these stores so I would get copyright strikes
I love the voice over better. So clear .
Hi, you are so kind and considerate to back up and sharing your knowledge or not. Wish I could meet you!
Maybe one day :-)
What is the name of the plate frames? Thanks
Hygan smythe
Are there specific brands of scrubs that you recommend buy?

I tried to go to the Haul Sale website but it's saying it doesn't exist 😟
Yeah they shut down earlier this year
Are you going to sell the lamp locally so you don't have to ship it?
No I don't have much of a local market so we will ship it :-)
☺️🥰
🤔😐
The bottles had spices in them. Pass
I love to watch you thrift, but your narrative iis not clear an scrambled. Not really a problem, I just turn on the cc.
I'm not sure what you mean? Noone else has reported any issue
