Sir one doubt. I think you taught one concept wrongly. When the metal contracts hole will get smaller and not bigger. We can understand it by example of putting a rim on bullock cart wheel. When we heat it its hole expands and when we cool it the hole also shrinks which means its dimension decreases and that's why it fits properly on the wheel. So shrinkage allowance should've been added in the inner dimension as well rather than subtracting.
Cetral hole contraction during cooling? Have a dought that the dia for core hole should me made larger...so that it shriks...? but you give it a negative allowance!

Inside hole get elongated, so we need to take the volume smaller than the original required volume, because as hole get expanded

@Rashid Equbal that's wrong, the pattern hole dimension will be 81.7 actually not 78.3. See the next lecture he wrote the dimension as 81.7 there.
