My fuel pump gave out last week. Took it to Honda and they were going to charge me 640 CAD just for the part...found it for way cheaper on Ebay and can do it myself now! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much big homie, my car suddenly wouldn't turn over and after a bunch of research I found this video and you showed me exactly how to do it. A few additional points: There's 2 Phillips head screws also holding the center console in place, located basically at the feet of the back seat. Autozone had this pump for 340, oreillys had it for 240. When putting the new one in, it really helps to have a friend push down on the pump (compressing the springs) while you tap the o ring back tight.

Good video. I was wondering where the fuel pump was on a Fit! I thought maybe I had to remove a front seat, and if so - which one? Anyway removing the negative cable from the battery seems like a good idea, if only because you don't want any sparks to occur near the fuel pump and fuel tank when you disconnect or connect the wires that go to the pump. But question: why remove the positive battery cable?
There are 3 ports on the fuel pump unit, one is the fuel outlet. What is the other white and yellow outlet for? Which one of them is for vacuum? After starting the engine, I removed the 2 pipes but could not feel any vacuum pressure on my hand or even when I used a thread.

I have a 2008 fit with 57,000 miles on it... My fuel pump went out, and dealer wanted $700... This is a lot cheaper if you can do the work.

TELL ME THIS: if you remove the L shape fuel pump can you put in a straight one like that? I have the awd fit so the pump is UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT!
Pump f..ed up at 132,000 miles! Time to look for carbed 1984 Tercel with mechanical pump (takes 20 minutes to change)

those are the "vent" lines for gas vapor going to charcoal canister
