In all seriousness, the device looks great, the only thing holding me back from making a purchase is the processor power. If Anbernic is going to make a line of devices that compete in the mid-tier market, then have a competitive processor. 🍻
Yeah the thing is for anbernic it's cheaper to do it this way, but there's not really any handhelds at the same 175 price point, any of its competitors have a much higher price point(rp4 pro is like 300)
@ I know the point you are trying to make, but just wanted to correct the pricing, the RP4Pro is $185. So as you can see, Anbernic needs to lower pricing more or find a stronger processor to properly compete. 🍻
@tonyrosario1940 oh okay in my country I'm in the UK tax is added to everything so that's where the price increase came from for me. I really wish anbernic would just use the rk3588s it's on the orangepi sbc for +-75usd if u purchased it whole sale it would be cheaper and a killer in this market sub 200$
Oh soo cool handheld, if only had at least a Snapdragon 8 gen 1, the device would have been legendary for this year, and price around $250 🤩, hope to see for the next rg 407h with 8 gen 2.
Will you make a handheld with that SNES button spacing, where Y and A are further apart from each other than X and B (I am using the snes button letters)?? Thay spacing is much more cool and retro than the boring simetrical PS spacing.
This might be one of the best 4:3 devices available, but I'd be interested to see if there's room for a bigger size in the future. Maybe a 437H, 457H, or 477H? Is there any discussion or research on what the best size for a 4:3 handheld could be?
We need much stronger CPU. Other than that if it would have a better SoC I would buy it. Until then I am still waiting. When will be new SoC used? Next year maybe?
Why a MUCH stronger!?? You can play with this almost all Gamecube and PS2 games... a little bit stronger and you can play the FULL Emulated games because Android does not go higher than that... Yes Switch Maybe a little but that emulator does not get any updates anymore.. but for retro this chip is almost perfect and can play 99% of the games full speed...
This Anbernic company makes great screen ratio and good ergonomics but analog sticks are subpar and performance is lacking for my requirement. Whats the point of releasing this? I hope Ayn copies this style and puts their amazing dpad and analog sticks and upgrade the chip inside. This would be the end of Anbernic bye²
I really can't wait for Anbernic to do a more powerful horizontal handheld, something powerful enough to handle Ps3 and some early 00s PC games. (such as Half-Life 2)
Not gonna be possible unfortunately, there is a lot of full blown gaming PCs that can not run PS3 games due to emulation inefficiencies, also in terms of older PC games I have a snapdragon 8 gen 3 phone and it can just about play some PC games emulate but that's a much higher price point and it plays at 30fps for games before 2010
The specs at the end of the trailer say 5000mAh and 7 hours battery, the video description says 5500mah and 8 hours
Chinese man...

@@not_so_native_native And, they will mark it up to 399 and sell it on TikTok for 237 with a case and a 256 gb roms card
Same reason why I’m not buying one, need something like this that will play all PS2 and GameCube library…
This looks beautiful and so powerful! Thank you for sharing! ❤
So beautiful! 😍
Great one. Best 3:4 consle so far.
Waiting for your 16:9 version. :)
I wish there would be more 16 bit samples
We need a DMG colorway!!! Gray DMG gameboy color everything!!! 🤪
Analog triggers👏🏻
I LOVE your handhelds! The RG ARC-S is atm my favourite! I hope you guys will update it with even better hardware and maybe two analog sticks.
Oh soo cool handheld, if only had at least a Snapdragon 8 gen 1, the device would have been legendary for this year, and price around $250 🤩, hope to see for the next rg 407h with 8 gen 2.
I'll wait for the 406M.
I hope that D-Pad feels better than it looks
We want more colors. Like the gray red rgcube.

Thay spacing is much more cool and retro than the boring simetrical PS spacing.
Anbernic please release a new 6 button device already.
Looks perfect! My only complaint is that their’s no grey color like the 406v lol
When is this available?
Don't like this Anbernic device? Wait five minutes.
Exactly. Hard to keep up
Is it a touchscreen?
Yes
I have the rg406v and i love it but this looks amazing
How about the forgotten console Anbernic Win ?
how much it cost when launch?
people buying a ps5 pro when so many amazing handhelds are being released this year.
Finally
Привет из России, ждём в продаже!
Yes!
How much is it?
Alright, it got triggers.
It's time you get a better resolution screen, Anbernic
720p is the ceiling for the 810 chip anyways
T820*
it's 4 inches dude!
like 240p
@@falafel6644 The Powkiddy RGB20 Pro has a 3.2 inches 1024x768 screen and the reviews say it looks great
I'd like some more color options (especially the red/white Cube color) but otherwise it looks great!
Yeah the red and white looks so amazing… I really would like something like that otherwise the purple one might be it
Release date? Price?
Does it have active cooling?
😍

A bezel-less screen like the Retroid Pocket 5 could be great too.
Im thinking about this or wait for 556 with these better sticks. But I don't know if there is so many 16:9 games to be concerned.
4.5" 4:3 screen is perfect size for viewing and portability.
Charging port at the bottom why...
Maybe a gaming watch ? because, different.
ah kipasnya memang ada tapi lobang fentilasi kurang banyak
Is this the one, or will you release two more devices before end of year?
No they will release 6 more by the end of the year
The music sounds like the unsolved mysteries theme.
Isnt that rhe rgcube
🎉🎉🎉
GameCube at a stable 60?
Make it cheaper than 140$ or bust
Guys, you can increase the price, I don't care, but please put something stronger in, like a Snapdragon or something....
🎉
sega genesis D-pad😱
Parabéns Equipe Ambernic o layout dos botões ficou perfeito, esse dpad da sega é perfeito para esses consoles retrô 👏👏👏👏
Pre-ordering this day *ucking 1!!!
We've just done a watchalong comparing the RG406H with the RG406V, RGCube, RG556, RP Mini and Retroid Pocket 5. Have a 👀!
would like to see a powerful Linux version of it, capable of running PS2, batocera
big step Ambernic ... like it
Ridiculous price. Cant wait until its $80.
Price?
rumored to be around $180
Same as the v variant at launch I’d bet
157$ at launch 167$ after 72h
It's just a 3rd RG cube though

make a console handheld like sony Ericsson play or else
It's time to get better video music 😅
nice game console
I'm just going to say it - the buttons pushing themselves is creepy.
Anbernic please release snapdragon chip do dual boot linux also. like Retroid Pocket mini or 5 but more powerful.
Nope. Try again w a regular cross dpad up top and w Linux.
No OLED, going to pass.

another 4:3 or 1:1 underpowered handheld. Anbernic is only making cheap devices haha Let me guess, another unisoc tiger device? lmao
Still weak.
This CPU is weak. If it it super cheap I am gonna buy it still. But damn. Please use better SoC!
ips booooo
4 inch screen.....😒
too little, too late
In which universe these LGBT lights are cool?! What a trend to not standard display resolutions?
It's RGB. You're thinking about gay people again.

@@not_so_native_native how much is the phone you have for that? And would a handheld of similar tech be just as expensive?
make a console for psp
theres plenty of them
