The Public Square under Redevelopment in front of JR Okayama Station

The construction zone is between the taxi stand and the bus stop in front of the east exit of JR Okayama station.
There were the peacock fountain and the statue of Momotaro in this place during the first half of the year 2024, but these icons have been already moved to different places and currently the development construction is ongoing in preparation for the extension of the streetcar.
